I'll start this thread with a cartoon. The "interview" was so bad. Kamunala never gave a straight answer on her flip-flopping stance on fracking. Tampon Tim was constantly frowning and looking down at the table. This was a horrible look for both of them.
Surely, given the magnitude of the opportunity, they conducted the interview for a minimum of a couple of hours, yet they aired only 27:58 of content. That CNN and Harris had already promised an interview left them with no choice but to water down the content to the least stupid, least hypocritical, least objectionable that remained after filtering out the most damaging. I hope America is smart enough to take away from this interview what it really means . . .
I'm not convinced you actually watched it. If you did watch, you do yourself a disservice by underestimating your political opponents. Dems underestimated Trump in 2016.
Oh, I certainly watched! Every lousy minute of it, unfortunately. I believe it is YOU who might be underestimating the opponent. Trump won easily in 2016 against the Hilderbeast who had, what was it, a 96% chance of winning? 2020 was an anomaly and I'm still not convinced that briben won that election fairly and squarely. Even you must admit that President Trump can't be underestimated and is a powerhouse in American politics. The CNN "interview" was a disaster.
I underestimated him in 2016, not since. This is going to be close no matter what. I don't think he's a political genius or anything, but I do acknowledge his charisma and ability to work a crowd (even if he's been quite clearly losing his touch in his advanced age)
I just don't see anything in that interview besides obfuscating her views and saying a whole lot of nothing. It's simply terrible that she thinks the electorate are stupid enough to vote for someone who was a self described radical in 2019/20, and now uses her aides to walk back her blatantly stupid 'policy' prescriptions instead of doing it herself. She is the biggest 'flip-flopper' I've ever seen. Remember, in less than two weeks mail in voting starts... People will be voting for someone who has answered no real questions, and has not laid out anything besides platitudes. Saying you have all of these goals means nothing if you have no idea on how to get there. Trump and his team have actually placed time into creating potential policy solutions. Harris and the Democrat machine are purposefully hiding this information so they can puppet her the same way they did to 'The Big Guy' (RIP) It is so transparent, but the media are shilling for her SO hard and propagandizing on her behalf so intensely that the imbecile, herd-mentality morons are so deluded from the reality of the economic landscape that they will vote for her anyway, despite knowing not a single thing about her.
Sorry to correct you, @StankyBoy, but they do know one thing about her . . . She's not Trump. Unfortunately, to those shallow dolts that's all that matters.
I am a Facebooker... and the comment sections are among the most insane showings of human idiocy I have ever seen.
The only citizens underestimating Kamala/Waltz is their dedicated supporters. They will not help any average American, conversely her proposed agenda will make it worse.
You are missing the point entirely. Who cares about his charisma, his big mouth or his orange hair?? It all has to do with his ability to lead us out of the chaos we are neck deep in. While Harris may have the “vibes”, she does not have the moxy that will be needed to quiet the bad actors in this world that have been emboldened under the Biden/Harris regime. You need to think about what is important and set aside what suits your agenda. We are at a crossroads and we need a leader. Not vibes.
IMO she doesn’t even have the vibes. She’s a few years younger than President Trump sure, but she’s still not a youthful candidate by any means. And Tampon Tim looks even older than Trump. She’s ONLY liked by the Left simply because she isn’t Trump. It really doesn’t matter who or even what they put up against Trump, they will vote for it. Their hatred for him knows no bounds.
I was so sick of “news” talking heads talking about vibes during the DNC. It was like listening to news reports about Woodstock or something. Walter Cronkite was rolling in his grave.
That man is not a leader, he's very clearly only out for himself and those with unwavering loyalty to him. That's not being a leader, well maybe a cult leader.
A leader doesn't stand in front of a microphone, promising free popsicles and balloons to the electorate. The leader is the one who explains why free popsicles and balloons are not in their future.
Just today I saw the most revolting political ad I ever witnessed. A weasely looking Republican standing at a twelve year old raped girls hospital bed vowing that he was watching to make sure she didn’t break the law. Utterly revolting in its message and it was designed for one target audience. The low information voter. The voter that believes abortion is outlawed by the right when in fact it is simply no longer a federal issue and never should have been a federal issue to begin with…….. I am of the mind that it may be appropriate to begin showing the grainy atomic bomb blasts that my generation had to look at over and over and still to this day is the foundation of my bad dreams. Those mushroom clouds are a far larger danger to the low information voter than their abortion rights. You are next door to a cook with atomic aspirations. Are you aware of just how close Iran is now? So stop with the fearmongering as I can assure you that given our current choice, there is only one with the strength to address the real dangers we face in 2024…. And it ain’t abortion.
