Yes! Several Universities are finally fighting back.

Additionally Princeton, Cornell, Wesleyan, Georgetown, Brown, Cal Tech, Mich state, Rochester, and Univ of Illinois are joining suits.

Trump will have 2 lasting legacies as I see it. 1. Decimation of the economy with his ridiculous trade wars. 2. Teaching the value of standing together against an oppressor.

The claim to Constitutional protections is an overreach, as the 1st Amendment guarantees that "Congress shall make no law respecting . . . "

The above was written by surprisingly stupid lawyers, who failed to recognize that it was not the Congressional creation of a law, but the institution of departmental policy - the precedent for which was set by the Democrat Party, which placed limitations upon the expenditure of grants, and decided the ability of foreign students to remain stateside.

Your chickens have come home to roost . . .

I think of this sentiment often:

    Regarding this college move:

......and maybe you should leave real world issues to the real world participants while you're at it.

These vaunted Universities and Colleges have enough wampum in their war chests to fund anything they want, so go ahead. Why should the U.S. Citizen pay the tax burden, when the recipient has multiples of the Grant(s) being suspended? Harvard as an example...their pleasure account is $45 Billion or so?

You want the U.S. government money? Then justify you need it because you don't have it.

There is a reason Hillsdale doesn't want to be infected by the gimmee free wampum Grants or Loans game.

You want a loaf of bread and cheese? Fine...prove to me you can't buy it yourself, and the U.S. will bend over backwards to feed you.

    Otherwise, nah.

Truth in editing: changed a "4" to a "$" so I was not fibbing like almost every democrat in this Federal Republic.

If that’s the case, then leave the presidenting to the president, the courting to the courts, the law-enforcing to the law-enforcers and the immigration-enforcing to the immigration-enforcers.

Anyone here is going to have a difficult time convincing me to shed tears for Harvard. Or Columbia. Or Howard. Or Brown. Or any elitist university.

Also, for the record, I don’t give a rat’s ass about any MS-13 gang member, Tren de Aragua or any criminal gang to include communists, socialists or any other anti-American organization, foreign or domestic.

Harvard can bitch and moan all they want. They can keep being racist (no law against that), but they’re going to have to do it WITHOUT $2.2 billion of taxpayer money.

It’s quite telling that Obama is supporting Harvard’s right to be racist and is leading the charge for all democrats to be racist, too. After all, it was the democrats who created the KKK.
