Just waiting for it to be shown over here, at the moment we have our Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Exchequer talking about what they are pumping into the economy (Billions) but they are not taking over the toxic bits LOL And they are getting shares in any bank they loan funds to :D all with Bank of England oversight :D

Well as of last week they both officially lost my vote. The one I was going to vote for gave up on campaigning etc. in my state, and the one I was not going to vote for never bothered to have his name put on the ballot during the primaries, and wanted my states electors not seated.

Since my state doesn't matter to either of these twinkies, they lost my vote. My state has had economic problems for over a decade, and was in a recession by itself all that time. These ding dongs couldn't care less, they are more concerned with so called "battleground" states.

So I will write in somebody. Probably the guy I voted for in the primary election. The one who was born here, and still likes the place, and whose father was Governor back in the 1960's.

I only watched part of the debate last night and a little more today. Other than cementing my belief that McCain will lose, there was nothing of any interest in it.

Funny that should be brought up. Obama does say "Ughhhh" a lot. I felt this was a good reason he would do poorly in debates. McCain should be kicking his butt however it's not the case.

McCain consciously uses "my friends" in hopes that he has some.

Now as for the debate, biased as I am, I think Obama held the edge but Mrs. McCain had an influence on that to a guy like me.

She had stated that "Obama has waged the dirtiest campaign in American history." Then she went on to say he would basically use the debate to correct those distortions.

I didn't see that happen. What I DID see was Obama get a bit peeved off a few times when McCain started spouting some BS.
Most notably was tax issues. McCain was reaching my friends and Obama wasn't letting it happen.

You can also tell Obama is a little put off by a question when he starts out with "Look".

No matter who gets elected, the American people are going to get the shaft up the bottom side.

didn't watch it, digusted with both party leadership for giving and continue to give away the wealth of this nation. More damage than an external terrorist attack,

Better yet, let's turn America into the only city that has lost more population than Detroit, let's turn it into New Orleans.
