yeah, its so obvious...how could I not see that international crisis had to mean just one thing and one thing only...certainly he couldnt have mean a diplomatic crisis with Iran or Russia testing us by going into the Ukraine...its all so clear now...I am just brainwashed

 

Well, when Russia invaded Georgia your beloved Obama was like a deer in lights & didn't know how to respond so I really doubt Biden was trying to rekindle that debacle.

I find it interesting how peeps words are taken out of context and even worse, when a person is totally misquoted! That is nothing short of ignorance and to quote somebody incorrectly, without verifying it, is idiotic but I've noticed the republican party doesn't care if it's right, as long as it works to their advantage.

Next time you quote someone, please do it correctly:

There is no mention of terrorists in that statement, but if you understood international matters, you would have understood Biden's message in the first place.

David, have you actually looked at Senator McCain's response to Senator Biden's remarks:

"We don't want a president who invites testing from the world at a time when our economy is in crisis and Americans are already fighting in two wars."

He then went on to say:

"America will not have a president who needs to be tested. I've been tested, my friends."

Considering Joe Biden was referring to the crisis that occurred with President Kennedy, who was a tested World War II Veteran, not unlike Mr. McCain, it's easy to see what he was saying is we don't need Senator McCain as President, we need Barrack Obama!

Neither of those made sense to me because the Bay of Pigs was us trying to overthrow another government. I doubt Joe the Senator is implying Obama is going to invade some place as soon as he gets into office.

And the missile crisis was not within 6 months Kennedy assuming office. So, I doubt he was referring to that unless he doesn't know his history.

 

I figured it was having to deal with communist Latin America which would include bay of pigs and the missile crisis but possibly also the fact that he stepped right into the increasingly volatile Vietnam (communists) situation....and in the end the communists in general.

I dont think america was attacked at the time....

So he is saying that Obama is going to try to overthrow a government in his first six months. Maybe he means Obama is going to have the CIA try to overthrow the Iranian government. Interesting.

I guess you also don't know the history of the Bay of Pigs:

"Prior to Kennedy's election to the presidency, the Eisenhower Administration created a plan to overthrow the Fidel Castro regime in Cuba. So, as it is part of history, the REPUBLICAN Administration started the plans to "OVERTHROW A GOVERNMENT" and Kennedy inherited this situation upon taking office. So what plans of overthrowing a government has the Bush Administration be keeping a secret from us, since you apparently know something we don't or are you trying to prove the intelligence factor the Republican Party has managed to garner in its rolls?

As to Barrack continuing Bush's failed policies, which ones are you referring to? Since there are many, do you have any in mind and do you think that on day 1, Barrack can throw everything into the trash can and start anew? That's not how it works, just like it wasn't how it worked 48 years ago. When a new president takes office, they take over where the former administration left off and things that were ongoing at the time, continue until such a time as the new administration either alters them, kills them, or leaves them in place if they think they are worthy of it. It will take quite some time for the new administration to get around to everything Bush & Cheney has messed up over the past 8 years, so be patient and see what happens. It won't be a one day deal, it will take time and a lot of work.
