Don't believe I said that Vess.
People here on the forum tend to do a bit more digging. Those I'm referring to generally don't IMHO.

Bush=Bad, McCain=Bush, Vote for Obama. Yes, many in the droves will see it that way.

Think of PRWE as a box. This is what's happening outside the box to some degree.
    That's my point here.

McCain has run a horrible campaign. I'm certainly not going to say Obama is the "messiah" but every attack McCain has made has made Obama look more that way to A LOT of people.
To me Obama has not really had to do all that much. He is a sharp guy and knows this. I really expected him to start firing back at McCain a lot more but he really hasn't.
That is the brilliant part of his campaign. He's let McCain damage his own image.

I kind of like the way you summed it up here.

ANY politician will take a "gimmee" when they can. Doesn't matter who that person is.

Hey Vess1. Our freedoms were based on the Magna Carta. And that Edict doesnt mention guns.

Um so freedom comes out of the barell of a gun in America then (You said it LOL)
My ethics or morals have nothing to do with his right to run for the presidency nor do his if he has not broken any laws :D
I woudnt call running for the Senate or the Presidency a LOCAL ISSUE by any means but perhaps we have different standards as to what counts as local LOL
Again I refer you to my FBI quote :p
No I am arguing because I believe in Fairness and if people will misquote and lie about him I will stick up for him, the same way I would for any other candidate. Again you might not fully comprehend fairness :D
I am not basing my decision on if he has broken any rules I have misgivings about the association and I also do not think his sums add up to cover his reforms, nor do I think that my opinion should sway anyone, those who can vote I would imagine are quite capable of making there own choices, I also do not allow my own personal opinion to interfere with a political debate.
Again you fail to see what any political analyst from either side would tell you, the man has orchestrated a brilliant campaign, thats wether or not you like the message contained in the campaign.

I agree with Clembo McCain has been his own worst nightmare as far as the campaign has gone, but having said that there is still a chance that he could pull it off.

Craig, it's time to raise the white flag. I can only be kind for so long.

"Yet, as close as Magna Carta and American concepts of liberty are, they remain distinct. Magna Carta is a charter of ancient liberties guaranteed by a king to his subjects; the Constitution of the United States is the establishment of a government by and for "We the People."

We are not governed by the Magna Carta. We're (supposedly) governed by a Constitution although many in power wish to debate and contradict that for some reason.

I don't know why you have any firearms. I think you should sell them or give them away or something. I mean really. Somebody could steal them and they could be used in a crime. The government tells you their bad. So just get rid of them. That would be the right thing to do, holding the positions you have.

So Vess using YOUR LOGIC you can not complain when a terrorist attacks the USA in the name of freedom!!
I also sugest that you try reading your own history they actualy did try to reach agreement on both sides.
Freedom does not come out of the barrel of a gun, but terror and death do and I have seen enough of both thank you very much.

If you could be kind enough as to show me which statement is ignorant? or is it just anything that you can not find a reasonable response to?

And what sence would that be to blindly follow your lead? Oh and by the way you accused me of lacking both morals and ethics

if you don't personally have any ethical or moral standards he hasn't broken any rules or laws

You compaird his campaign to one run by Micky mouse did you not?

Did I say that John McCain had not kept it civil, if I did then please show me where I said that? I believe I said he was his own worst nightmare.

You are rather good are you not at rewriting what people actualy have said and trying to evade questions by going on the offensive. I also dont need to try to gain favour with anyone, I have been my own person for rather to long to bother with that kind of rubbish, that I will leave to you as you seem quite adept at it.

Wow, if this was a friendly campaign I'd hate to see an ugly one.
So the call on my machine "paid by for McCain" that (as much as I could understand the poor quality) just outright ties Obama in with terrorsts that kill Americans is legit and clean? Friendly?
How about baseless lies until it's proven?

How about Palin "rallys". Sure, one can't control what an audience member says but she sure was good at ignoring statements like "kill Obama". One of those losers is now being investigated by the Secret Service if I'm not mistaken.

As I had stated earlier I figured Obama would have to start airing out "dirty laundry" on McCain and Palin but never had to. If they (McCain and company) had gone even more extreme do you think that would have really helped?

People have enougn fear in their lives already. A good dose of McCain campaign fear has not been a very good answer.

I said our rights were BASED on the Magna Carta. I didnt say this government was run by it. And you know what? You dont need to know why I have firearms.

If you can be guilty by just associating with someone, then what does that make John McCain when it comes to Charles Keating?

I'd say that makes John McCain a crook and scoundrel, so lets not forget John McCain's FRIENDS when someone speaks of Barack's past associations! ;)

    Ribbit :)

Whelp, you guys heard it! Two wrongs make a right. Obama's cleared of his past associations. Thanks!

Lets also not forget that President Bush is one of John McCains long time pals :D
I keep forgeting Vess you can not actualy read so why bother trying to debate with such a closed mind LOL You sir woudnt know a civil liberty if it snuck up behind you and bit you LOL
Also I would happily place my moral standards and Ethics up agains yours without fear any time :D
Again were exactly did I say McCains campaign was uncivile? try actualy answering this time rather than evading the question.

Maybe he didn't air "dirty laundry" because there wasn't any to air??? Press reports did claim the Dems sent 300+ people to Alaska to "vet" Palin. Nothing came of it. The Keating 5 is over 20 years old but they keep parading it out. If there were any skeletons I'm positive Obama would have used them.

Since when did pointing out your concerns over a candidate become "fear tactics"? That's just plain silly!

CHICAGO, Ill. -- Among the other voters who have shown up to vote at Shoesmith Elementary School this morning, where Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., will vote: Louis Farrakhan and William Ayers.

    **********************************************

I just find it amazing that a person with the least amount of experience in US History and with the baggage of friends and associates he has hung with is probably going to win this election.

    What a shame!

Were that his only problem, I would be tickled pink. Although I do not like the implication of these associations and, even less, the lies about same, it is what this empty suit actually has proposed that scares the crap out of me.

Let's see, to vote at that location requires that the person live in that poll's area, so I find it interesting that you expect Barack to not know these people (aka: associate with) who live in the same neighborhood that he does!

That just proves why Barack knows them and it's clearly community association. I guess Charles Keating lived next door to John McCain?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Savings_and_Loan_Association

So it's otay for John McCain to have crossed state lines to not only associate with someone who cost the American Taxpayers more than 160 BILLION Dollars, but to help him do it and then Barack cannot have anything to do with his neighbors?

You may be an idiot and there may be idiots that will buy into to your crap, but I am not and I do not stand alone.

    Ribbit :)

Not that Wiki is the best reference out there, but YOUR reference states "Glenn and McCain: cleared of impropriety". However, the biggest differences between the two incidents is that McCain confessed and was found to have done nothing wrong by a Democratic prosecutor and Keating/McCain was for only two years. We still do not know which lie of Obama's to believe and at least 3 of Obama's associations are for in excess of 20 years.

...yep, lives near them, worship with 'em, mentored by them, endorsed politically by them, babysat for them, etc. No wonder Rezko chose the area as the place for the Obama's to settle...all their homies are within walking distance!!

RLM? What is up with you? I know you are capable of better math than that!

When I do the math, 1989 minus 1981 equals 8 + 1 equals 9 years to me, not 2! So what's up with the poor math, friend?
