I watched this last night and it was like a breath of fresh air. What so many people realize. Finally, a media outlet with somebody speaking in terms of reality. What he speaks is reality!! I know many here try to shelter themselves from it and it makes them feel uncomfortable to realize the real situation. Not somebody sugar coating the facts. No personal attacks. No artificial praise. A simple, straight forward, factual conversation.

How can ANY, COMPETENT person not agree with this entire interview? Go ahead guys. Pick it apart. Pick anything out of it you want and I will defend it.

Leave your personal attacks at the door. I know that's the emotional response to reality a lot of the time for some, but it really hurts the credibility of an argument. If the facts can't be argued than please refrain from posting and just enjoy the enlightenment brought forth by the video. That's all I ask.

Although not a " ditto head" by ANY means, the nail was hit on the head.

So far, already in 1 day, I have seen the Rush comments taken out of context and not understood, right here on this forum. Miscontstrued by the media, and bought hook line and sinker. Fed by the left, it is EASY to bash Rush, IF you do not hear the lines in context, OR, understand the premise behind them.

I'm in your corner Vess, for the most part.

Thanks AJ. As stated I'm not behind him on all of the issues 100% either. I would like to classify myself as a 'thinker' as well. Which is understandable. But lets make it clear that I'm behind him about 90% of the time.

One other note I would like to make from this... He refers to Obama's "fringe, kook, base". That could be/will be construed as an opinion or as non-factual (depending on who you talk to). But it's funny though. That part blew by me twice and I didn't even flinch because knowing what the people he's referring to actually support..... I'm unable to come up with any other adjectives that would more adequately describe them. Nowadays, these terms are a given when referring to the group. Which is why I never gave it a second thought.

One thing that I can easily do these days:

Not get caught up in the hate game. Hate is a cancer, anger is bad blood.

I have watched for 8 years at the Bush haters and detractors scream for blood, absolute venom. Why torture yourself? Anger is self torture.

    War crimes !!!! Gitmo !!!!! Waterboarding !!!!! Haliburton !!!!

All the while, enjoying the very freedoms that are threatened to be taken from us do we not stand for democracy and the American way.

I will not go deep here, I do not wish to punish myself or damage my business, but I do wish to make my point heard.

As a youngster, I voted for Reagan, not because I liked the guy, but because I saw what Carter did. Not untill my adult years did I see that I was a " righty" and a conservative.

Everybody bitched about pardons and clemency's, what do you think happened today in a swoop of a pen? Pardons for all at GITMO. A cease fire to those under scrutiny for terrorist acts. While not convicted, evidence says they were our enemies. Fook it, let em run free and attack us agiain. ( We did not learn in the previous bombings , did we)

I will not join the bash Obama crowd, nor will I be on the attack for anyting he does ( and there are attackers and watchdogs ), but better, I will sit and watch and learn, Thats all I can do. Thats all any of us can do.

The best gift we can give ourselves, no matter our political persuasion or affiliation, is education. Same in coins. DO learn for yourself, DO assemble a team of experts, DO learn to read the media and intercept false leads, DO learn do differentiate fact from fiction.

My thing? Listen to the other side, and give them an honest chance. YOu might just hear something.

As Don Vito Corleone told Michael as he was living his last days, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Know what they think.

Just watched it and I have to say I find nothing wrong with what he says, he expressed his hopes and fears rather well, while I might not agree with him 100% I can understand his point of view.
Now how about him running for President?? :D

What Limbaugh is saying is correct, he wants him to succeed if he does the right thing, but only fail if he takes a socialist agenda. As much as I cannot like Rush Limbaugh personally, he is a bombastic fool, he is right with his view of Obama.

He's been asked many times. People have begged and pleaded. I think he'd be great. But I've heard him answer the question on the air several times...

"He couldn't take the pay cut." :D

(His current contract is worth a quarter of a billion)

Can't say I could blame him. Maybe after 4 years of Obama, he'll reconsider.

Isnt Rush hooked on pain-killers? And what did Carter do to you AZJack? And maybe I'm the only one here; but I dont take much credence to the advice of a fictional character. I mean Corleone, not Rush. Or do I?

The old boy was indeed hooked on them sometime back, so much so he was doctor shopping to get more prescripts for them. Then he got caught. Not sure about now, maybe he is clean again.

Have you looked into his marital strife, whoops, I mean life? Interesting reads.

''Have you looked into his marital strife, whoops, I mean life? Interesting reads.'' There it is again. His marriage was ''f''ed up so he sought narcotics to assuage his woes. Poor guy. I'm just not a fan of the guy. He seems the sort of guy who misses using words like nigger and chink. IMHO

    Not much.

Double digit inflation and interest rates, massive unemployment, enegry crisis, oh yeah, that hostage thing too.

And it was Rush that got hooked on the oxy's, then treatment here in AZ. Unlike Jerry Garcia who died of complications of lifelong Herion addiction.

I think Rush Limbaugh is a self absorbed, attention mongering blowhard. But, that doesn't mean he doesn't have a cognizant thought once in a while. ;)

What does that mean in simple talk LOL

You blame Carter for the Iranian hostage thing? No you dont: do you?. Thats like blaming Bush for 9/11. And Garcia died of a heart attack. And he never condemned anyone for drug use the way Limbuagh has done. Hooked on painkillers, hooked on herion. Hmm, yes I do see the difference.

    How about this translation:

And he had a rare one with this above interview. At least Obamanation will give his radio show a boost, and may even get him back on TV.

Rough marriage life? Got addicted to pain killers? If that's the extent of his moral and ethical criticisms, than many of our politicians could learn a lot from his example in life. Up to and including Obama.

You're really grabbing at straws to get off the topic. It's that old game again. If the topic is unsettling and there is no viable information to use in order to defend a side..... time for personal attacks on someone's character.

    Yawn.
