Boy, I'm convinced now. Look at the "prominent" names on this list- pillars of the community, everyone of them! If these people believe there was a world-reaching conspiracy to kill 3000+ people in the WTC and blame it on terrorists, who am I to disagree?

 

Actually it was important. If you think about it for a moment, I am sure you can figure it out. After all, you are the one who claims to be the thinker. I don't know if you are just being coy at this point. I find it very hard to believe that someone who has researched this topic as much as you have doesn't know the reason for the GPS devices.

If you do know and are purposefully withholding that information in order to make the situation appear sinister, it is a blatant example of contextomy. This is your last chance to come clean before I post the reason and further ruin your credibility.

Had I posted the some names from the almost infinite list of prominent structural engineers, physics engineers, scientists, commercial pilots, former and present military brass, that say 911 is a load of crap, might that have been more impressive? You would like everyone to believe that the government was involved in a cover up that included disposing of the debris at ground zero in order to destroy evidence of their evil deed. You claim that GPS devices were used on the trucks so that they could track and ensure that all of the debris/evidence was disposed of properly.

What you won't tell everyone is that there is a very simple reason that the GPS devices were used. After 9/11, fear of terror attacks reached a state of almost constant paranoia in the United States. Every politician and law enforcement agency was running to save face and prove that they were doing everything in their power to prevent future attacks. The rubble and debris at ground zero was classified as hazardous materials and in fact many of the volunteers who helped at the site developed medical problems from the exposure.

One of the major concerns regarding future terrorism was the idea that terrorists would use hazardous waste materials as a sort of chemical weapon. This was the response after 9/11: Congress has also acted, holding hearings on bus and truck security and hazardous materials licensing [11]. New security measures considered at the hearing included requiring background checks for truck drivers seeking licenses to haul hazardous materials, requiring companies that haul hazardous materials to create security plans, improving the tracking of the movement of hazardous materials (such as through the use of electronic tags or satellites), increasing funding for hazardous material handling and training programs, and creating potential federal penalties for the hijacking of trucks carrying hazardous materials [12].

When you post the entire story, the GPS devices don't appear sinister at all, they were part of the plan to prevent future terrorist attacks. What really bothers me Tom is that there is no feasible way that you did not know why the GPS devices were used. Even if you believe that the reason I just provided for their use is just a continuation of an already mammoth conspiracy, your refusal to post the information makes you guilty of contextomy and does in fact, ruin your credibility.

Tom I am fairly sure that there would be a lot easier ways to destroy records of insider trading than to crash a plane into the biulding, please be honest dont you?
Same goes for Asbestos removal!! Hell why not just wait till night fall and burn the building to the ground, after all if they could arrange for some lunatics to fly aircraft into it and arrange for the structure to be weakend with explosive charges then burning would be fairly simple!
Also if the building had just been privitised then why would the Goverment worry about the asbestos removal?
To confiscate the gold much simpler again just to make it illigal to own and take it.

 

Dunno, but if the ones you listed are the most prominent of the 250+ "prominent" conspiracy theorists you'll just have to share the other less prominent ones with us.

Well guys, another fascinating thread.

Anybody who is willing to discount the obvious discrepancies and forget about them is being incredibly dishonest with themselves. Building #7 collapsed. It was as important if not more important than the towers. And it was left off the report?
The owner ended up making billions off the insurance he collected. A seemingly multitude of criminals got off scott free with evidence that vanished and billions of dollars changed hands in an instant. Do we even need to venture in to the laws of physics (again) to say there is SOMETHING fishy about it all?

Whatever happened, there are people that knew something. And they are probably so evil that they never lost a wink of sleep over it. It was just 'business' and it's behind us now.

Motive? I would say at least 4 or 5 enormous objectives were accomplished for various individuals, agencies and big businesses as a result. At the expense of who else but the America public.

Unsettling but I can't play the shell game to feel better about it.

 

These things always turn to the minutia which is counter productive. In fact it only points out the need for a real deal investigation. Lets face it none of us is really qualified to examine this with proper depth. I think that even the most pro-government folk like Lehigh would agree that we need a real investigation.

 

You are absolutely right, and I stated that within the first few posts of the original 9/11 thread. I want to state for the record that I am not pro-government and I have no allegiance to the so called "official story". However, I believe 100% that Islamic terrorists are responsible for 9/11 and believe that they are always planning their next attack.

There are definitely pieces of the puzzle missing. Members of the government certainly lied to cover up their incompetence. Further investigation is absolutely necessary.

But to take the quantum leap from that to 9/11 was perpetrated by the US government is ridiculous. The conspiracy theorists attack the "official story" with the same zeal that the terrorists use attack the infidels. They use propaganda and contextomy to serve their ultimate goal which is to discredit the government for which they display a completely irrational level of hatred. They never provide a theory of their own that incorporates all elements including opportunity and motive.

If the conspiracy theorists weren't so clever and dedicated I wouldn't care. But when they make headway with their movement, it draws attention away from the real enemy and increases the chances of another successful major terrorist attack on the United States.
