I guess I was hoping you'd appreciate Steven Jones's explanation of the facts, since you have dismissed everyone else as idiots. You admitted that he was at least credentialed, as you keep harping on, so I hoped you might at least consider his views since he seems to meet your educational criteria.

Proving something twice has no point. We should both accept that and move on since both of us think we won the debate.

 

That's the problem with things like 911. People accept things and move on, never questioning how or why, then question how things have gotten to the point we are at in America.

We argued for over 30 pages. There was certainly questioning of how and why. You can claim that the downfall of this country is due to everyone sticking their head in the sand and I can claim that it is a widespread socialist backlash against capitalism. It doesn't make either of us right.

Here is what I learned from our little debate. We are both stubborn as mules, don't mind a good argument, are both intelligent, and neither is ever going to change our mind on the subject. The fundamental reason we will not change our minds boils down to the core of our beliefs on the subject of 9/11. In both cases it boils down to our belief in the ability of our government. You believe that the US government is omnipotent and evil and use these beliefs to explain you conspiracy theories. My opinion of our government and military is that they are an extension of the incompetence that I see everyday at work and there is no way that they could have pulled off a conspiracy and cover up of the magnitude that your are suggesting.

In the end, there is a 0% chance that continuing the debate with you will do anything but feed your insatiable appetite to discuss your favorite topic. If you would like to debate someone else on the topic feel free, but most will decline for the same reason I am. There is no point.

 

Point taken Lehigh. I'd differ with you too though with your assertion that people refuse to debate because of their sharing of your views. I'd suggest that people don't/won't because of their unfamiliarity with actual facts (ignorance, willful or otherwise), that I try and point out and their inability to either tax their brain or their lack of time to become informed on the topic. I've done the research. I'm very well versed on many of the particulars. People refuse to even read the research that's been done for them, I guess based on some sort of fear or something. That's pretty damn sad if you ask me. People invite everything that they get today in the form of bad government and terrorism. Ignorance. Willful ignorance. Damn shame what this society has become.
