You probably haven't wasted your time reading tomc's posts- and I really couldn't blame you- but his view on entitlements has been made very clear.

Sorry Sparky but I don't see much of a difference mega profit being handed to the rapists, or any other "handed to" phrase. Course that could also depend on what one calls work. Republicans call mega rape and mega profit work. Others call it crime.

Perhaps you should re-read & edit this...it just doesn't make any sense (even when considering the source).

Hand outs are no different than mega profits that are extracted at the expense of the working man. Corporations "take" their handouts in the form of cuts or other attrition in the name of "the bottom line", the mega profit. Taking the life blood out of working society by downsizing, merging, outsourcing or other corporate crime is no different than anyone taking a "handout". The only difference is that one isn't earned and the other is stolen.

I'm really not interested in what someone else cropped together from different contexts and you shouldn't let some video do your talking for you. Articulate your own positions using your own thoughts or if that isn't possible, sit back and learn from those of us that can. I don't care if your videos are pro or anti-Obama, they are still just someone else who isn't here to debate a point doing your talking. I'm sorry if this seems a bit intolerant but I get so tired of the Fox News/Tea Party/patriot this/patriot that-type crowd that would rather be told what they think than articulate their own thoughts.

yup! It's just that simple. All there is to it really. Snap your fingers and everybody has free health care. Everyone is helped for free. Don't know how anybody could be against something so simple as you have kindly outlined here. Thanks. We've all been enlightened. Such a brilliant writeup.

Different contexts!?!?!?! How much more blunt do the statements need to be!? LOL So you're saying actual footage of Obama lying is inadequate reason to be angry? Nothing was articulated by that? You're always grabbing at straws. I have nothing to learn from you. Hopefully you can gain something from me. Luckily, I can't stand to spend much time in this forum.

The bigger point is your party stood silent while Bush and company were busy destroying America. Now that a democrat occupies the White House, the "party of no" suddenly has a voice. Seems just a tad bit disingenuous and dare I say...hypocritical? NAH.....that couldn't possibly describe the "party of no". Lies are now suddenly a big concern on the right. Gimme a friggin break.

It isn't my party. Bush was elected a second term because he was a better option than Kerry. An undeserving candidate. Bush wore out his welcome in his second term and we ended up with a different undeserving, lying, extremist candidate by default. Which was inevitable. Most thinking Americans are disturbed by this trend. Others rejoice in what they think is some kind of retribution. As if this is some kind of game. I genuinely feel bad for these people and feel sorry for future generations.

So the good Presidents according to TomC in his lifetime are:

    Bill Clinton
    Jimmy Carter
    LBJ
    JFK

Certainly compared to modern day republicans of the same time period, it'd be a pretty easy choice.

I thought Fox was sponsoring Reagan as their most honorable leader! I have heard Nixon touted by the right though on occasion. Revisionist history knows no bounds I guess.

I was just thinking the same thing. ;)

You're just another low-information, overly opinionated, Extremo-Right winger. No forum needs more of those.

I asked who the last President who would be considered good was. I never claimed that the Republican President's were good. But TomC was very quick to proclaim all of the Democratic Presidents good which is a joke. De Orc, What makes Nixon the best Republican President of the last half century?
