I'm surprised no one has commented on this little nugget of wisdom spewed by tomc. Moen, you seem to be in lock step with tomc on most issues, how do you feel about these comments?

In addition to "Unfortunately government is the only way to fix anything"...I'll further expand by saying...

....when you have a corrupt system of finance largely, if not entirely controlled by criminals...yes..that's what government is supposed to be for...controlling...regulating...people that can't or won't themselves in lieu of extreme wealth, while costing future generations their futures for the entertainment of the elite.

I just had an amusing, or is it scary, revelation and it involves that scary word COMMUNISM that is tossed around to frighten people. If one follows the reasoning in this forum without the knee-jerk, reactionary name calling I reckon we're all communists.

If the Democrats screw it up so bad what is the solution? Replace them with Republicans to fix it of course.

Now, last I checked, both Republicans and Democrats are commonly referred to as POLITICIANS. In theory politicians are voted in by people to represent them in the GOVERNING of our country.
In THEORY they represent our needs and strive to make sure that those needs are addressed. They accomplish these goals buy GOVERNING. If it doesn't work as well as planned they are replacable and the cycle continues. A vicious cycle indeed.

In short WE ALL depend on the government to fix things. THEREFORE, we must ALL be Communists!

People throw around the terms willy nilly and make them meaningless, in my opinion. Communist and Socialist are true, valid ideologies. I totally disagree with them and think they are the often the antithesis of what we should be striving for but that does not make them invalid as ideologies.

Almost zero people on this forum seem to me to be Communists or Hard Core Socialists. And I do not believe Pres Obama is a communist or a socialist either. But, notice, while I unequivocally state that the President is neither a socialist or a communist, I will not say that about all the posters on this forum.

I truly believe that Tom is either a communist or hard core socialist in his ideology. I used to think a lot of what was posted was for entertainment and treated it as such. But, I have taken a different view over time. I viewed this thread as his coming out the ideological closet, so to speak. Not that there's anything wrong with that. lol I even said similar earlier in the thread.

 

That's pretty funny dude. I must say...up until that post I thought you might show some promise as a thinking American. I will have to re-assess that assumption, but whatever floats your brother...believe whatever makes you comfortable I guess.

 

To sidetrack a bit...can anyone remember the last time somebody went to jail for all of the Wall street shananigans besides Bernie? Bernie was the only one involved there? Yeah right. All the crap that goes on...disappearing pallets of cash..illegally invading countries to all types of sercurties fraud...noone goes to jail. Ever wonder why? I'll tell you why. Because the right side of the aisle's most prominent elected criminals have REMOVED most of the regulations that make the things they do illegal! No accountability..by anyone. (unless of course you're Barack Obama, then by God...everything's now his fault.)
Insurance companies selectively drop you and have teams of people to find ways to drop you if you pose a financial risk to them. Does anybody NOT see the sickness of the idealogy of the right? Ahhh yes capitalism....take your fraudantly obtained cash, invest it in some fraudulant scheme, and make hundreds of times your investment, then move it all offshore. Close down, outsource labor in lieu of 32 cents an hour workers (they just got a raise) and outsource to the lowest, most desperate bidder, then call it all successful business ventures. Sucker born every minute I once heard.

 

Really. So the posts against capitalism and business, the despising of the wealthy and also those in management or ownership or supervisory positions, the unwavering hate of anything or anyone that that is considered to the right of the political spectrum, and the beliefs of the purpose of the government in people lives don't qualify? I have a hard time believing that. Have you ever taken one of those 2 axis political ideology tests? They are not 100% accurate but it might be enlightening.

 

I meant the elitist's that fear INFORMATION about what or how they achieve their elitist goals. NOT you personally genius.

 

I was responding to your categorizing me in a certain group. I realize it makes it more convienient to group non-lemming individuals together in order to facilitate the lemming to fell better about themselves. I state what my life experiences have taught me...reality..not what is handed out by mainstream media and other lemmings everyday. My views are much more accurate to what actually happens in the world than the garbage that is projected by folks with agendas daily.
The best way to emphasize lunacy is to sometimes act like a lunatic. Usually that's all people notice. They generally don't have the inclination nor the time to actually think about what is going on around them. My points...though exaggeriated somewhat, are always fairly accurate...or at least a hell of a lot more accurate than what the elitists want us all to believe. Lots closer to the actual truth of things rather than the "Alice in Wonderland" mentality most of the lemmings suffer from. Take it any way you want to dude.

We all fit into certain political ideologies whether we want to admit it or not. I would have said I believe you have far left, authoritative leaning beliefs instead but I am not sure everyone knows what that means.

If you exaggerate your beliefs here then maybe my categorization is not accurate as I was taking your posts as truthful beliefs not as just an internet tactic or fake persona.
