Hmmmm, let's talk about assumptions then, shall we? You mistakenly assume that anyone who disagrees with you is a FOX News junkie...I think that is a stupid assumption. Based on your incredible knowledge of what is said on FOX you have to be glued to it. As I've stated before, I don't watch FOX or really much TV at all...I wish I had the time. Let me be clear, if I had the time I would probably tune in to FOX but sadly I do not. So when you accuse me of quoting anything that is said on FOX you are wrong. Perhaps you should accept the fact that millions upon millions of people have the same views on BO, socialism and liberalism. One doesn't need a news channel to form their opinion but rather they may enjoy tuning into a show where the hosts have a shared, common opinion.

[QUOTE=David;286121l'' I think Shelby is conducting himself the best way he can..playing by the dems rules while trying bring attention to their actions.''. Yes I am sure you are right. Shelby is probably conducting himself the best way he can. Going against his beliefs and views while working with someone he doesnt trust or like. That says alot about Shelby. I cannot image how much more time consuming it would be for Shelby to introduce his own bill. Seeing as its take nearly two years and counting for him to finish one with collaboration.

Ah, you said the repubs learned their lesson from the dems. That they dont trust the dems. So working with them would be going against a repubs view, right? I could care less either way, what troubles me is that I think no one here has seen the bill so the language may say the things Shelby says it doesnt. Does Shelby mean he wants it dumbed down so his constituents can understand it without all the legalese? And Shelby must know what he contributed to the bill. Why not just go it alone from there? Ironclad shmironclad. Even if the bill gets simpler, what prevents some one else coming up with a new bill to bail out an institution? Nothing really. I'm pretty sure nothing is ''Ironclad" in Wahington, DC.

Sure you do, tom...go back & read every one of your posts. What is it they say? The first step is admitting you have a problem....

They aren't conspiracy theories...they are conspiracy facts to a true believer. 911, FEMA Camps, New World Order, Bilderberg, Genesis, Exodus, Corinthians, Revelations, etc, etc, etc..

"The corporate system of the rich and powerful is all good...My cynicism is in error. I am wrong". How's that?

    lol

I think cynicism is healthy. Fanaticism is not.

On the flip side, an optimistic outlook is healthy. Ignorance, whether intentional or via stupidity, is dangerous.
