Thats really funny. Sometimes the more initials after someones name is relative to an inability to communicate. But I think the dr is on vacation or something. I would like to converse with him as upon reading many of his posts I became sure that Im the Anti-moen.

No one is allowed to disagree with the dr. If you do, he'll begin by questioning your intelligence, then, in the face of proof to the contrary he'll give you the silent treatment. Finally, when you press him he will simply put you on the "ignore" list. You have to understand, dr moen has a very lofty opinion of himself plus he surrounds himself with naive school kids. He is ill-prepared when someone doesn't agree with his every word. Heck, once he even made a statement indicating he wanted to control what tomc & d'orc posted.

 

Ignoring you is an indication of intelligence if you asked me.

Why are you forbidden by the laws of the United States from bearing arms in her defense?

 

Short answer is...Because the United States chooses not to allow their military chaplains to bear arms.

The Geneva conventions does not specifically say that Chaplains cannot bear arms but they are considered (along with medical personnel and civilians) to be non-combatants. That basically means they are not allowed to participate directly in hostilities and they are not supposed to be attacked directly either.

However, the US has decided not to have their Chaplains bear arms at all, even for self defense. On the other hand, US medical personnel (also non-combatants) are allowed to carry weapons. However, they cannot use them offensively. Only to defend themselves, their patients or a hospital.

As a former military member, I can tell you that Chaplains, regardless of whether they are allowed to carry a gun or not, do a heck of a job in a theatre of war and provide a vital service to the troops. And not just because they almost always have candy on them (at least in the AF they do).

I like you, an attack without provocation. Please tell me why are you so angry? I would think you would be quite pleased with the current administration and such. You should find me to be easy prey. I just see what I see, and have been around the world courtesy of uncle sam. Why the anger? It makes me curious. I think the 2nd amendment should be left alone.

tom is one of those people (you know, the type BO & the liberal elite prey on) who has made poor decisions and isn't happy with the direction his life has taken, therefore he has to have someone to blame. He can't blame the libs (because they are the ones- so he has been convinced- who will give him a free ride) so he lashes out at anyone everyone he considers more successful than he.

 

It's so strict in fact that I don't even have a sword during formal events. That's not to say I haven't fired machine guns, pitched grenades, or squeezed off a few 9 mm rounds. I have. I go where my Marines are. And that means their training events. Just can't do those things on the battlefield.

And yes, I carry candy. Jolly Ranchers.

 

and Davey (Spooky) is one of those snobs that aligns with the hard right for his own personal benefit. His propaganda is almost all verbatim Fox catch phrases, Rush Limpbaugh paragraphs, or other delusions of grandeur. He thinks everyone has exactly the same circumstances and silver spoons jammed in his rear end as he does. He can't comprehend that anyone can fail or do very poorly due to uncontrollable circumstances (since HE did it...EVERYBODY can do the same thing mentality.) He believes everyone that who tries to shine a spotlight on his party and it's criminal tactics, is a loser, a whiner, a beggar, etc.
His anger and obsession at "the Obama" view is indicative of his party's hypocrisy and instability. He marches exclusively to the right. Instead of a free ride, he wants his tax shelters, and corporate crime to continue to be considered "business" (with no jail time). He wants us all to stop whining or he and his party will take all their marbles and go home.
