What is it about politics that makes people get so angry?

Mr Sparky. I believe my "hatred" of the right is well founded, not irrational. There are good people that happen to be republican. They're politically misguided but no less than good people. When I refer to hating republicans, I am referring to the hard right, politically active, and usually but not always, the republican ELECTED right wing, or the right wing media mouthpieces..I'm referring to those that defend the republican party to the death ignoring their own criminals but immediately bash anybody to the left who they perceive as having done wrong. People like....well....I won't name people specifically, but I am not referring to the average Joe Schmoe who happens to have adopted and believe the right wing propaganda and call themselves conservative. I personally know "republicans" who are more moral and decent people than I'll ever be.
So as far as hating half the country's inhabitants Sparky......you'd be wrong. (surprise, surprise). If you perceive my disgust with the country's political criminal corporate climate and the criminals that are involved in orchestrating the decay of our country as hating our country...you'd be wrong again....
Some people might choose to insert the word nitwit here....but I won't.

 

Believe it or not, I am in agreement with Tomc on my dislike and distrust for most Repo politicians. Except I'll add all politicians to that. I wont say the " hate" word, but I despise any politician of any party at this point in time.

 

Until that post, you have never differientated your hatred of the "hard right" from the centrist republicans on this forum. Therefore, it would be a logical conclusion for any republican (including me) to think that your sensational rhetoric included all republicans. You have and extreme hatred of capitalism which is supported by all republicans and the majority of democrats as well. Why would we just assume that you were only targeting the "hard right".

I know you didn't actually name David in your post but it was obvious to whom you were referring. Have you ever considered that you do exactly what you are accusing David of doing. You and Moen are left wing zealots who wear the same blinders that our Republican David wears.

I will give you credit where credit is due. That post was probably the most productive one you have ever submitted on this forum. You almost sounded like a rational person with the ability to listen and reason. Perhaps you can parlay that post and start making rational arguments based on logic and reason rather than resorting to your traditional anti-republican rhetoric.

I also despise our politicians. Personally, I think there should be a one term limit on every federal political position. Eliminate the need to be re-elected and we will end a good portion of the corruption that exists with our current political system. End all political contributions and fund all federal elections with tax payer money. IMO, that would be a good start at finding real statesmen to govern our country.

 

Just a word of correction here...I will condemn anyone doing wrong by our country regardless of party afilliation. This same thing was brought up by Peter once and I dared him to find a single instance when I supported a bad guy merely because we shared a political view. He couldn't do it then & you guys can't do it now. Crooks, robbers, sexual deviants, whatever sent 'em all to jail regardless of what party they belong to. Clear enough?

 

You remind me of this female pig I used to work with who's married and is boppin' a co-worker (the same guy the supervisor used to bop). She and you can both lie through your teeth then play dumb. Probably why you and them are so successful in the corporate criminal world. Who's boppin' you? Lying, and whor**ng yourselves out for personal gain seems to be a consistent trait amongst crooks, robbers, and sexual deviants, you know, the people you cite so easily.

Now where is it you work, where people are "bopping" animals? No wonder you're so disatisfied! You have recently made statements about bending over at work...bleeding rear ends...down on knees...etc, and now bopping farm animals? You really should reflect a bit on what you do, where you go and who you choose to associate with.

I was just referring to a real life example of evil nastiness in the workplace that actually exists AND WORKS to succeed in the corporate world. Point being genuine work isn't rewarded. Rather, banging your unmarried co-worker while you're married, supervisor, whoever, is how you succeed with management that not only approves of the sick behavior but has participated in same. THAT is today's world my disillusioned lemming online acquaintance. You only succeed if you "play the game". I don't so...no raise for me.
That's corporate life in the corporate world....who you're willing to screw.....literally...to succeed. Quite amazing cause she's fat and not even good looking, but then so's the boss. Pigs (again literally) at the trough.

I actually agree with that comment. Most promotions I see are based on loyalty to the boss rather than competence and performance. The upper management would rather surround themselves with idiots who are willing to take the proverbial bullet rather than the smartest most qualified experienced candidates. The qualified candidates represent a threat to those in charge.

This coming from the guy who takes pride in bragging how he wouldn't lift a finger to help his greedy, criminal bosses or wouldn't work overtime if needed? Don't fool yourself tomc, you aren't passed over for promotions or denied raises because some other guy is bopping a pig you are overlooked because you are a terrible employee with no work ethic or concern for fellow employees.
Speaking as someone who has promoted hundreds of people over the years I can say, without exception, I have never promoted a "crony" over a more qualified candidate. The way I see it personnel decisions are a direct reflection on the person making the decision and I can't understand why anyone would promote an unqualified person over a more qualified one? Now, before I'm accused of being naive, I consider loyalty and work ethic to be vital components of one's overall fitness....and I'll go on the record and say if co-workers are "bopping" I would look at that as more of a negative rather than a positive.
