I don't know if you caught this news yesterday or not but apparently the states of Illinois & New York failed to get absentee ballots out to military and state personnel, serving overseas, in the designated timeframe making it likely their votes will not be counted in the upcoming elections. Is it just a coincidence that these dem-leaning blue states just happened to miss the deadline, considering that this block votes predominantly Republican? Hmmmmm........

Right, it just Illinois and New York....

WASHINGTON — With less than three weeks to go before the midterm election, a growing number of states are coming under pressure from the Justice Department for missing a new deadline to mail ballots to troops and overseas voters.
Election officials in New York, New Mexico and Nevada have been sued by the federal government in the past week or reached agreements to give military personnel and other Americans living abroad more time to return ballots for this year's election.

At issue is a 2009 law that requires county election officials to send overseas ballots no later than 45 days before Election Day so voters can fill them out and mail them back in time to be counted. Most counties met the Sept. 18 deadline, but an unknown number did not.

    What a nut!!!

Oh well, if those other states are just as guilty then that makes it alright. Is that your position?

Geesh, it's not like sending ballots to our service men & women is something new!

Now you've made me have to click on your stupid hidden post just to see what the next dumb thing you'd come up with was. You didn't disappoint. Pointing out your silly false conspiracy theory that New York and Illinois were targeting the troops to disenfranchise them this election was my position. And if you knew anything about the law in question (From 2009!), you'd know that in fact it is a new law so sending the troops ballots within 45 days is something new. Why anyone spends anytime responding to your ignorance is beyond me. I have just wasted another few minutes responding to you that I’ll never get back. GeeeeeeSH!

Here's what I would do if I had a new deadline: I would send them out earlier than I did previously!! Is it really that hard?

Now I don't believe it is to the level of a conspiracy, rather I think it's just an indication of how low of a regard these liberal leaning states hold our military folks.
Okay, Dr moen, now you can storm out like Whoopie & Joy!!!

And I BELIEVE you're what Red Forman refers to as D*** A**! Now I'll go back to ignoring you DA.

Welcome to the melt down!!!! What was that you've said about resorting to name calling. dr moen?
You see, I'm not one of those naive, scared little coeds you can bully. When you make your silly posts I'm going to call you on them. Get it? Good!

Why twist it? Why didnt you include Nevada and New Mexico when you started this thread?

Well, genius, the article I read only mentioned IL & NY. Luckily, dr moen was able to add your & Harry Reid's state & New Mexico.
Now I'll ask, does adding NV & NM to the mix somehow make it okay with you?

That isnt why you brought it up. You posted your thread because you wanted to know, to quote, ''Is it just a coincidence that these dem-leaning blue states just happened to miss the deadline, considering that this block votes predominantly Republican? Hmmmmm........''. And now that you know, doesnt it seem odd to you that the article you read did not mention that those two red states did the same thing? You posted this thread to insinuate that it was intentional because of their blue state status, not because of the outrage you have. I would think YOU'D be more thorough. Instead of making it a 'them against us thing', you couldve just posted that the incompetence of any state to send absentee ballots out late should not be tolerated. And do you know which way US citizens living abroad lean? Are they also GOP likely? That would seem strange. Oh, and ya dont have to be insulting. Or do you?

You are dealing with a "True Believer" here. You can't convince someone that is a legend in their own mind that they are wrong and they will never admit to it. They just don't have the intellectual courage. That is why I eventually just put him on my ignore list. There is just no point to his nonsense. I'll disagree with you or anybody else but at least you behave like an adult. I think davy must be a 14-year old abuse victim with access to his mommy's computer.

Well, I would hardly call NM or NV red states.
And just to help you re-focus, please remember I was commenting on an article which was discussing IL & NY. Just because NM & NV are also guilty doesn't excuse IL or NY in my view. You call it incompetence, which may very well be the case but the matter does merit questioning, at the very least. These states have had to get their ballots out for years, why is it suddenly so hard to do? So what if the deadline was moved up. It's simple, just follow the same process only begin a bit earlier than in the past.

Funny, dr moen refuses to hear anything if it comes from the right yet those on the right are close-minded, true believers who lack intellectual courage?
And to answer your question...no I wasn't abused as a child, I managed to avoid your father. And it isn't my mother's computer I use, it's your mother's. A computer is a small price to pay for the service I've provided her over the years. Now, is that how you want it to be?

Yes it does merit questioning. Not allusion. Which is what you posted. Nothing on the genius comment, huh? I guess it wont matter how I address you then.

You can question an issue any way you choose, I will question them as I see fit. If my "allusion" doesn't doesn't please you, so be it. As far as the genius comment goes, it has been obvious for a while that you are not a genius so I will not make that mistake again. Happy?
