No, I do not support this. It is out of line.

I don't support it either but I am not surprised at it. You can;t compare a system where a colony was being ruled by a monarch and a country that is electing its own government. If it was a situation where a ruling group tried to retain control via force rather than elections, that is one thing but not overthrowing because you don't agree with those that have been elected.

Any legislation in this country is able to be repealed or overturned by the way the country votes. Vote in all libertarians and the Patriot act goes away. Vote in socialists and the scenery changes for corporations and the wealthy. As long as we have those choices, whether the majority chooses them or not, and the checks and balances in the constitution remain intact, I believe talk of revolution is anti-American.

One nut does not a movement make. However, the increasing number of times I hear these so called "real Americans" repeat this type of crap and become more vocal about "2nd Amendment solutions", the more it will encourage loose cannons to act on their own. I think that if Republicans hate government so much, maybe they should stop trying to run for government office all the time just to prove how bad government can really be with them in charge. Even people like this guy don't bother me all that much, the real losers are the people that are supportive of these nuts. They are flat out dumb.

It's an easy thing to say that you heard Democrats saying things like this in 2004 but, can you actually produce a quote from a Democratic U.S. Congressional candidate from 2004 that is even remotely similar to what this guy is saying? I'm not calling you a liar, I am just unable to find anything from 2004 that comes close to what this nut is saying.

Keep in mind though, guys like this would not say this stuff unless they felt that there was an approving audience that would support their comments. If a Democrat ever uttered anything like this, his support would be gone instantly. The Republicans on the other hand, eat this stuff up and gain respect for the nut for saying it.

Democrats would support King George III again.

If all there was left was democrats in this country, the Constitution wouldn't have been heard of for the past 30 years. It would have been thrown out a long time ago for it's perceived inconvenience. The 2nd amendment wouldnt' exist and everything would be gone. The entire country would be slaves working for peanuts, if not for free by now. No democrat in existence could be relied upon to retain freedom if it ever came down to it. They would defend tyranny until it slaughtered and enslaved them. If that's what you want to defend and be like, more power to you.

When the day comes that they want 100% of your income in taxes and they want a minimum of two of your kids for slaves to be sent to China, I would expect nothing less of moen to comply, and then ask if there was anything else he could do for them. If that's something you want to brag about, go right ahead. Liberty constantly erodes over time. Especially when the population becomes as ignorant as it is now, diluted with 10s of millions of non-citizens, helping decided toss up, 50/50 elections.

The past two years hasn't proven anything to you!?!

Not to mention that an uneducated populous managed to elect a president that's the FURTHEST human being from a normal US citizen. A guy who spent nearly his entire childhood NOT as a resident of this country with a clouded past concerning where he was even born. Raised by a grandmother with almost no father figure involved, who went from being a poor, drug experimenting youth to magically attending the best college this country has to offer. With no explanation of how it was paid for since he's spent millions to hide the transcripts.
On top of this, went through life without having normal employment at any stage. Then dabbled in the corrupt political machine of Chicago before rising to the presidency. Put there for EVERY reason OTHER than being qualified. People voting based on race, guilt, disgust, and incompetence, tipped the scales in his favor.

So no, it isn't shocking when somebody comes out in grave concern of the direction we're headed.

Weather Underground? Black Panthers? Symbionese Liberation Army? Weren't these left wing groups who preached violence & the overthrow of the gov't? Or the groups who protest at economic summits? Heck, even some of the animal rights & environmental groups get pretty violent.

Maybe it wasnt in 2004. Yes I lied. But here are some images of the other side advocating violence for their cause. Not insurrection, but in that vein.

That's OK I checked other years beside 2004. I agree that people from both sides of the aisle go overboard with their inappropriate signs but free speech has to endure all kinds of extremes.

However, I'd like to see proof of any Democrat that has run for a U.S. Congressional seat that has said anything remotely like what this guy is saying. This is far different than some weirdo protester holding up a sign that goes too far. This is a guy trying to pander to a belief that he knows will resonate with his base. I'm not even all that sure this guy believes what he is saying but I do believe he is saying it because he knows there are enough people in his constituency that like what he is saying. That is where I have trouble with Republicans. It might sound funny but the tolerance of intolerance and extremism is one more reason I’ll never be a Republican.

Sure the Left has its fringe extremists and I condemn any inappropriate behavior or out of line rhetoric but they don’t get to run the party even if the opposition likes to characterize the democratic leadership as such. When you have extremists calling others extremists, you really can’t put too much faith in their opinions. The Tea Party is made up of the most extreme elements of the Republican Party and they are running the show. It would be like the Democrats ceding power to the Eco-terrorists. Democrats are never going to let the fringe take over their party while Republicans are stuck running for the shelter of the fringe Right.

There is no equivalency here between the extremes of the Right and the extremes the Left. I’m sure that Obama looks like a fringe Left president to the people so far out on the Right that the Left is just a blurry horizon line someplace beyond the center Right position. In other words, it isn’t that the democrats are any further Left than they have ever been, its that the Right has changed from center Right to neoconservative to Tea Partyville and they just keep moving further to the right.

But the false equivancy argument is all they understand.

Oh, but these groups have participated in the political system. Maybe not Patty Hearst (but you knew that, didn't you?) but certainly a Bill Ayers comes to mind. So is it the democrat way for a violent anarchist to somehow evolve into a crony of the sitting prez? It's okay then? Perhaps if this guy in OH waits 15 years or so he will be able to have the ear of the prez & it will be okay?
