Rand Paul Didn't Stomp a Woman's Head, One of His People Did

I shouldn't be but I am continually amazed that anybody that could defend what these guys did. She clearly put up no resistance and they kept sadistically assaulting her. They have some REAL men in Kentucky I tell you.

This incident is very telling of the Republican mindset. When their side is caught doing something as reprehensible as assaulting a woman, they defend the tactics tooth and nail and never once consider what a bunch of hypocrites they are because the ends always justify the means once again.

Life-long Democrat and never more disgusted by Republicans than I have been this election cycle. You must be so proud of your ilk.

 

No I don't but I'm sure you can offer proof. Of course it would end up being another contrived video from Breitbart if you could supply the "proof". Only Republicans use past indiscretions real or imagined to justify current indiscretions as if two wrongs would actually make a right. Even kids know better than that.

 

Yeah, I guess if dr moen was being rushed by some whacko in an obvious disguise, in the midst of a heated political debate, he would just tuck tail & run away screaming. He can bully those naive young coeds but it's full retreat in the face of a legitimate threat, huh?

Was she "disguised"? Yes and not real bright in my opinion. I can certainly understand Rand Paul's people being concerned about this. Totally understandable IMHO.

Was she close to Rand Paul? Once again the answer is yes. If she were a whacked out nut job with a gun there is again real cause for concern.

Were her hands visible? No doubt. Of course she could still be armed so still cause for concern.

So far I am defending Rand Paul's people. They have done nothing wrong as I see it.

Next they restrain her. Once again I agree. Not like she really struggles all that much and is quickly subdued and basically on the ground in a somewhat fetal position with hands clearly visible.

Next we see Mr. Proffitt (sp?) place his foot on her neck/head area, hesitate then give it a good pump. THIS IS WRONG and I don't care who's doing it.
Obviously one of the other Rand Paul people knows this as shown and heard when he says "no, no, no, no, no c'mon".
If you listen closely I believe you can hear her glasses crack. Luckily not her neck.

Sure doesn't make Rand Paul's people look too good and that's a shame. Only takes one idiot after all and they quickly dismissed him.
The damage is done and I hope the idiot is charged with assault. He should be.

 

I didn't see anybody defending this "tooth and nail"! You got a little video to latch onto so now you have something to blow out of proportion and scream about for the day. Congratulations.

It's an unfortunate occurrence, it'd be nice if it didn't happen but not much you can do about it now except assess the situation. He didn't "stomp" on her head. If anything it was a light shove. Big deal. Nobody should be prosecuted. The court system is abused enough as it is. Let it go.

 

I cannot how so many people see the same video and yet see something so different. david you take the cake. She desreved it? Really? Was she a jerk for trying to do what she had? You bet. But did she deserve that little extra pressure we all saw that guy assert. No she didnt. But I guess that he is your kind of guy. When someone squeezes someone else's head with their foot, it called stomped. Some one should have beat the snot out of that pr!ck for treating a girl like that. She deserved it. I have to say you really disappointed me here Lehigh. I haven't had any comments here in quite some time because I get so tired of the childish fights on both sides. I decided to comment today.

Naturally this IS a thing that the Dems would want to "exploit". Would the Republicans NOT do the same thing?

Wrong is wrong. PERIOD dude. I posted another video that for some reason has been removed by Youtube. So be it. The original is still there.

His foot is on her shoulder? Get real please. His toes may be construed as on her shoulder but his heel is more in the area of her ear. Last time I checked (and having seen her interviewed) neither of her ears were located on her shoulders.

The pressure point he applied (after a delay) was clearly coming from his heel. Hey, toss out the red flag like they do in a football game these days and challenge the call. You'll lose a timeout and get a personal foul. Possibly a suspension after league review.

Of course the field is much bigger and the penalties can be much more severe in this case. They should be. None of them were wearing pads or helmets after all.

She certainly was not "sadistically assaulted" but she was assaulted. It was, indeed, the one moron.

 

On a bit of a side note....yesterday I went to see Paul's opponent, Jack Conway, as he made a campaign stop not far from where I live. I guess the guys getting desperate as he finds himself falling further & futher behind in the polls- he spent the entire visit trying to distance himself from "Washington democrats like Obama, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid" and proclaiming his conservative values. I suppose that since BO is a lame duck and Reid & Pelosi will be out of power in a week or two he has nothing to lose, huh?

 

No you're an idiot for defending this type of behavior and belittling the assault by three men a one woman. You've continually assailed the victim in this incident as a moron, a looney, and refused to even call it an assault. You have gone so far over the top trying to make the victim the bad person here that you just sound absurd. Your only regret seems to be that they didn't give her a right hook in the jaw along the way. Don't even try and defend the violent behavior towards a helpless woman this video clearly shows, you just come off looking like a misogynistic a-hole.

 

The assault was by one man, not three. She is also guilty of assault for pushing people whether you like to admit it or not. Gender makes no difference. If she pushes another person, it is assault. Absurdity is calling this incident a "sadistic assault" and referring to that woman as a "victim".

For the second time now, you have purposefully spun my statement regarding a "right hook to the jaw". It was meant to characterize what someone would do if they were actually trying to assault someone and hurt them. The moron who stepped on her was wrong and deserves to face criminal charges. I can find no malice in the actions of the other two men.

Perhaps I have been desensitized to certain levels of violence based on my surroundings for the last twenty years. But if this level of violence appauls you then I expect that your are outraged by the level of violence that exists it the public schools of our country given that you are in the education field. If you are not outraged and actively working to stop it, then we can safely assume that your concern and outrage in this case is not genuine, and that you are using it for political gain.

 

I guess it has turned out that she didn't pose a threat- with hindsight being 20/20 and all- but just what if, this person pushing through the crowd, wearing a disguise had a gun or a bomb? It's happened before.

 

What did you expect him to say? The truth, he is a politician first and foremost. The truth doesn't get you votes, the politically correct statement does. His statement is PC, not the truth.

And all of you people who are disgusted should heed David's words. You are all a bunch of Monday morining quaterbacks. If this woman was a nut with a gun, these men would be branded as heros.

 

The question you keep choosing to ignore is "what if" she had a gun...a knife...or a bomb? One would have to be a complete & utter moron to not perceive this woman pushing through the crowd in a nutty disguise as a possible threat.
