The left-wing media is about as reputable as.. hmmmmm.. I can't think of anything less reputable. Maybe a two-dollar hooker, but that's giving a bad name to hookers everywhere.

    That's funny.

"The American Thinker brings us word of an attempted assassination you probably have never heard of.

It happened in September of 2010 in Missouri. A 22 year old named Casey Brezik, wearing a bullet proof vest, charged toward Missouri’s Democratic Governor Jay Nixon with a knife and attempted to slash his throat.

In light of the media’s race to talk about the right’s climate of hateful rhetoric, you have probably guessed by now that Casey Brezik was an anti-Christian, anti-capitalist leftist who participated in a number of leftwing protests. He was also a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic.

Luckily for all involved, Brezik was high on pot at the time and got confused. Instead of slashing the Governor’s throat, he slashed the throat of a community college dean he took for the Governor.

Jack Cashill, writing at the American Thinker, notes"

He was high on pot. Must have figured he was a Hostess Twinkie. Reefer madness will do that to you.

Seriously though it's NOT funny but where was the right wing media? They are allowed to report such things aren't they?

Can I ask which section of the media was biased in failing to report this? was it widely coverd by the Right leaning press? or was it widely coverd by the Left leaning press or did neither section give it much coverage?

This story WAS reported on both liberal and conservative news outlets although coverage was minimal. The suspect in the attack was basically a homeless man with mental problems. The governor wasn't even at the scene when the attack occurred.

The charge of "bias" is coming from the right-wing's assertion that the liberal media was quick to jump on the band wagon that the attacker in Arizona on Jan. 8 was influenced by the tea party or the rhetoric of conservative talk show hosts. But, since the attack on the Missouri governor couldn't be immediately labeled by the left-wing media as being committed by a Tea Partier or a conservative, the story was quashed.

So the question is whether the media was biased in reporting the Arizona attacker compared to the Missouri attacker. The left-wing media was quick to jump on Sheriff Dupnik's claim that it was based on right-wing rhetoric. Not so! They've since had to eat their words. So, in the case of the Arizona attack, yes the left-wing media was incredibly biased.

I think Dupnik and the left-wing media who jumped on this and initially twisted the Arizona attack to seem like it had been committed by a right-wing zealot owe the nation an apology.

Just what do you have against transvestites, Tom? In this age of liberal enlightenment that was a very sexist thing to say! I thought you were more liberal than that.....

Clyburn was propogating the same lie as recently as Sunday on Meet the Press even though it was exposed as a left wing lie several days earlier. No wonder tomc & dr moen get so confused- the left wing talking points they adhere to are all over the board....they don't stand a chance.

I am sorry, but I don't think the press will ever apologize. The only way to fight the press bias is with the "OFF" button. When enough switch away, they will get the message. Even Immelt's bottom line is still profit.

The ones that get me the most are the senator and representatives doing the same specifically with the Loughner case. I am not sure how you can convince the American public, but some how that kind of vitriol does not belong in congress. Now, Dupnik should be charged. His comments were and are a joke for the prosecuting DA to have made.

A librarian? Tom wouldn't know a library from a McDonald's. Tom's never seen a library in his life much less ever read a book. Oh, you said "Libertarian"... never mind. But, I still don't think he's ever read a book! - ZING -

Nothing at all my politically misguided friend. I just want him to stop pretending he's a woman and fess up. I mean, we need at least one party that its mouthpieces are exactly what they appear to be, right?
Having a man parade around pretending to be a woman isn't exactly honest. I think it'd be a good move admitting to switching genders. Think of all the transvestite votes the republicans would get! Transvestites rally for the right, with Mr. Coulter leading the way. What better way to ignite the republican base and show some honesty at the same time? I think it'd be a great rallying cry to the constituency.

You sound angry my man. Maybe you should go get yourself another happy meal and go to the library? Go to the fiction section and pick out a good book on great republican leaders. Take your shoes off. Have somebody bring you a toddie. Read Georgey's latest book on how he lied to America, or something comforting like that. You need to unwind from all that Fox propaganda. You deserve it!

Well, Ed Schultz is a woman. That's fine by me, I don't care that she wants to act like a man. You seem to have a problem with that, Mr. Enlightenment.

Really? Well I didn't know that! Ed really does look like a man too, almost as much as Ann looks like a man. I don't think Ed's adams apple is as big as Ann's though. That's cool!
