Biased? They describe themselves as a, "progressive research and information center". I do think that they are biased towards the truth. Truth doesn't actually have a progressive or conservative bias. It is simply the truth regardless of anyone's political persuasion. Neither do they call themselves a media news network, Fox does.
Are you trying to say because they are a non-profit, ALL tax payers finances them? That’s a stretch of reality. Because they are a tax exempt organization under the not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) tax code, we are ALL paying for them to exist? Okaaaaay!

Goody! Goody! I could call myself a bleeding heart liberal, also. That really does not make it so. I have no idea how you can believe how anything that plans "guerrilla warfare and sabotage" aimed at Fox News can possibly be anything except biased. And we have already discovered what your version of the "truth" means.

Oh, and Fox says they are "fair and balanced". I am sure you do not agree with that even though they are the only outlet that really does present both sides.

Just so that we're clear, when Media Matters says "progressive" they ARE saying that they take the liberal viewpoint. Can you have a guerrilla war and sabotage goal against the purveyors of misinformation without being biased towards their positions? I think that it is a given that you would be biased, well not exactly biased, but certainly against their stated positions and actions. I mean were the Allies biased against the Axis powers in WWII? Sure they were but I don't think it was the bias that was the real issue as much as the actions of the Axis powers that the Allies were against.

Roger Ailes who was a media consultant for Republican presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George H. W. Bush, as well as Rudy Giuliani’s first mayoral campaign in 1989 stated in the 1970's that what the Right needed was something he called GOP TV at the time to press the conservative viewpoint. Maybe you are aware of who runs Fox news these days. Fox is more like "False and Biased" than "Fair and Balanced" but it is hot out so keep swilling that Kool Aid.

Here is something for you to drink to. In a 300 page documnent taken straight out of the Nixon Library Roger Ailes talked about creating GOP TV. His reason for doing so, "People are lazy, with Television you just sit, watch, listen, and thinking is done for you." as he penned his opinion of those that would be watching. Even way back then he used the slogan "Fair and Balanced". The only question one can really ask at this point is, "Done any thinking for yourself recently?"

So now you are comparing Fox to the Nazis? Real nice one there. Your usual. If you cannot justify it, try insulting them.

Not only that, there has been no proof that Fox has in any way slanted their coverage of the British scandal, there not even been an inference (except by you) that Fox has been involved in this, and there has only been one unsubstantiated report that anything in the US has been involved.

Only a dim wit would believe that only one media outlet is fair and balanced. They all seem to have their own agenda.

Two unsubstantiated reports. 9/11 victims(families) and an actor. Much like the Weiner thing or the Craig thing, where there's smoke there's usually fire.

    Keep dreaming Sally!

Phone hacking to obtain news stories is an incredibly unethical tactic for an investigative journalist to employ. However, FOX NEWS does not have investigative journalists. They have annoying celebrity news anchors who provide opinion commentary on stories plucked from the AP. Go ahead, dispute that!

A former producer with Fox News claimed in a lengthy essay gaining new traction this week that the conservative television station has a "Brain Room" in its New York headquarters, which enables employees to view private telephone records with ease.

Oh! WOW! A 15 year old accusation from a disgruntled (fired) employee suddenly comes to light and does not even involve hacking. I sounds like mediamatters is fulfilling their plans of "guerrilla warfare and sabotage" aimed at Fox News. But then it is "progressive" so I will bet you believe it is the truth.

I guess you will be changing your name to Tomcorona pretty soon huh? Another conspiracy clown born!

However, I do agree with one statement in that ridiculous article.

Conspiracy theorists eh? One of the tenants of conspiracy theorists is that when faced with contradictory evidence of their beliefs, they simply expand their original conspiracy theory to include the people or organization that asserted the contradictory evidence. How far will you guys go believing an organization that has already admitted to bribing policemen, possibly politicians, and even possibly murdering an accuser? They run some of the sleaziest rags in the world and you are willing to give them the benefit of the doubt to defend your beliefs. This is an organization that has admitted that they have the right to lie and mislead the public under their 1st Amendment rights but you put your faith in them? OK. Let me know how that works out for you guys. There is one born every minute.

Yep! Just as I expected. Not one statement of fact and then insults. I guess to you it does not matter that it is 15 years old. It does not matter that it is completely unsubstantiated. It does not matter that it is not hacking. It just matters that it is progressive. Therefore, it must be correct.

If there were a conspiracy, I'm not sure you wouldn't be a part of it. As a card-carrying drone of the left, you wouldn't see a conspiracy as anything but the truth. But, you're not to blame for being a brainwashed victim; I place the blame on your mental superiors who have been able to make you actually believe the propaganda you espouse.
