I know that I don’t but Wisconsin Republicans have proven over and over that there is no tactic is too low for them to gain power. This is a violation of Federal voting law and I hope D!ck Army and his group find themselves in prison over this dirty voter suppression tactic.

AFP Wisconsin ballots have late return date
Americans for Prosperity is sending absentee ballots to Democrats in at least two Wisconsin state Senate recall districts with instructions to return the paperwork after the election date.
The fliers, obtained by POLITICO, ask solidly Democratic voters to return ballots for the Aug. 9 election to the city clerk "before Aug. 11."
A Democrat on the ground in Wisconsin said the fliers were discovered to be hitting doors in District 2 and District 10 over the weekend.
"These are people who are our 1's in the voterfile who we already knew. They ain't AFP members, that's for damn sure," the source said.
One flier was discovered in Hudson, Wisc. where Democrat Shelly Moore is attempting to upend GOP State Sen. Sheila Harsdorf in District 10; the other was found in Kaukauna, where Democrat Nancy Nusbaum is challenging Sen. Robert Cowles in District 2.
"If they're targeting for Aug. 16, they're hundreds and hundreds of miles off," said the Democratic activist who has been on the ground in Madison for months. "This has nothing to do with either Democratic incumbent up on August 16th."
The absentee trickery comes just as AFP has purchased $150,000 in ad time in Green Bay, Milwaukee and Madison to boost GOP candidates.

 

If I remember correctly, dr moen, phd, you defended the Dims who were accused of similar tactics during the last elections. You remember don't you? When a couple of states sat on their absentee ballots & didn't mail them out to the military, among others, until it was virtually impossible to be rec'd & returned by the specified date? Kinda of hypocritical isn't it?

That is a completely false Fox inspired remembrance of what happened in 2008. Several states, including red ones, had issues with getting ballots overseas on time and this has never, never been traced to a Democrat conspiracy except possibly by Fox. It doesn't surprise me that you believe it though. And are you saying that you DO approve of what the cons did in Wisconsin? Really? You approve of such tactics? Why I am not surprised again? The ends have always justified the means for ideologues throughout history.

The disenfranchising masters have always been the cons not the Dems. This blatant case of ballots sent to reliably democrat districts only cannot be justified by an imaginary conspiracies that never had any legs nor any facts associated with the false claims that went along with them.

Now man up if you have any concept of that behavior and tell us how you can defend this type of dirty politics that seems to be the bread and butter of the Wisconsin GOP? Keep in mind that the Wisconsin recall HQ mysteriously burned down last week as well.

 

I don't condone bad behavior whether it's the right or the left that does it. The difference between the two of us dr moen, phd is that I am honest enough to say this behavior shouldn't be tolerated from either side while you, on the other hand, are so brainwashed by the left wing media that you will give the left a pass on the exact same issue you would bash the right for.

I have already condemned this behavior in my OP and I condemn it from any political party where it shows up. The real difference between you and I is that I have never used a real or imaginary previous misdeed to justify a current misdeed. You and your ilk do it constantly. You and your morally bankrupt brethren demonstrate time after time that all that is important to you is winning. There isn’t even a façade of a commitment to a fair, legal, and just process. No wonder you guys are stuck with the likes of Palin, Bachmann, Pawlenty, Gingrich, and the rest of the cast of clowns on the Right. When your morality is a morally of convenience, anyone, no matter their qualifications or character is likely to feel that they have a shot at rising to the top of the heap.

 

You condemned those on the right in this case yet you defended the left when they did the same thing? How convenient. I clearly condemned anyone who acted so outrageously, regardless of party. Why can't you do the same? Waiting for Bill Maher or the Daily Kos to put those words in your mouth?
