Did anyone see the ending where a business transaction took place. Ten dollars for a copier publication. That guy is a closet republican if you ask me. He knows how to make something from nothing.
Every socialist is actually a capitalist at heart whether they believe it or not. They wouldn't be able to eat, clothe themselves or provide a roof over their head if they weren't.
Those people spoke of revolution. Did anyone take a good look at them. If they were around during 1774, then we all still be speaking British...........
LOL, but he doesn't have a brain in his head! Alright now, use your big head instead of your little head and tell us if you agree with this socialist's ideas...
I'll have to look at it again, but seriously... The whole revolution thing is so passe at this point in America. Of course if the Republicans keep at it they might bring it into vogue again. But right now when I hear that word being tossed around I know they're just j**king off. The only revolutions I'm interested in are those that occur at the ballot box. And as long as we hold the ballot box sacred then that's where it'll stay.
OK, it sounds as if you're fairly intelligent (except for the remark about Republicans) unlike that idiot in the video.
Well thank you. I'll not take that as condescension. I am fairly intelligent. But not above taking an inexpensive dig at the Republicans either. To be sure Rob might be using "revolution" in more of a figurative sense. But still it rubs me up the wrong way. Kind of like when Sharron Angle and other RW sorts go on about a Second Amendment Solution.
I'm sure you don't really want to know, but you do seem to enjoy bringing this up from time to time... is it for the enjoyment factor?
Sometimes I wonder if the revolution was such a hot idea after all. It got the British rethinking the whole imperialism thing. They shifted from colonizing places to conquering, occupying and administering them. Of course they might have done that anyway, but if they had stayed involved with the lower half of North America it might have kept them invested in the old system. And there is a lot to be said for the way Canada turned out. Of course the Native Americans/First Nations got screwed both ways.
No such language as British, your foerfathers were talking English/French/Dutch/Spanish/German etc but certainly not British and to a great extent are still speaking the same today
Ok so you De Orc are from Great Britian. Does that mean when I read your post I am reading British or do you have a language translator and writing in American.
No it means that you are reading English, I assume that you are aware that the British are made up of 4 different nationalities with 4 sepperate languages ? English is the common language
Also it is called the United Kingdom does that then equate that I must be speaking British United Kingdomees?
English people confuse me. They have too many names for their country; England, Britain, Great Britain, The United Kingdom, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, etc. (that whole thing with Wales is too confusing, I suggest invasion)...and yeah, I know the United States of America has a few different names too, but they all are short for the long version (The U.S., U.S.A., America, etc.). And depite speaking the same language as the U.S., it's bloody hard to understand them sometimes... what's up with that? They did have Benny Hill though... so all is forgiven
