Holy crap! I probably shouldn't jump the gun but I think I saw, for the first time in my life, a republican candidate for POTUS that may actually be worth a listen? I saw Buddy Roemer for the first time tonight and (again for the first time) didn't instantly consider him a typical right wing whacko! He may turn out to be as I investigate him more thoroughly, but I admit, it was a first. Anybody got any info on this guy?
I saw his interview and he hasn't got a chance in hades of actually winning. He is old time conservative not the extreme Right-wing fanatical type that currently run the GOP. Reagan couldn't be elected to office as a Republi-CON by those who throw his name around as if he were a God. The radical Right has succeeded in taking over and they will drive the party to ruin...I hope.
Sad part is that even if they (hypothetically) disappeared altogether, the damage they've done could take days to fix...
