Hello From JoeNation!

I'm not trying to fool anyone or have multiple accounts, it is just that my Moen1305 account is working so poorly and there seems to be no resolution to the problem, so I have decided to create a new account. I do not care if my old account is deleted or suspended or anything else. I'm just tired of every link I select timing out. I spend more time watching the screen while my account is trying to post something than I spend writing posts.

When I come here and do not log in, I have no problems with timing out. Only after I log in does the site slow to a crawl. Besides, it is time for a change and a more generic name is my preference anyway. Hope this doesn't ruffle any feathers. No deception is intended.

Anyway, I think the greatest thing I have come to realize is that I get to have just as much fun "liking" myself, or my old self anyway, as the rest of you guys have had all along. It does feel a little incestuous though.

The Insane One may indeed use the word, but I believe "whining" is a more appropriate description of the complaint made here by the righties.

On a side-note: They are awfully quick to judge on this occasion, despite all the energy they spent denouncing the same thing in the Martin/Zimmerman case... what's the word for that again?

 

What rule are you referring to? A second account? As I understand it, multiple accounts are acceptable on this site... so it can't be that.

 

And besides, I don't have muliple accounts. I told the mods to delete my old account or disable it or whatever they want. I'm only using this one from now on. When you try to be honest and open about your reasons here, the RW'er just want to see the worst in you. They are just like that. Unhappy people to the core.

 

Most forums do discourage or ban trolling 'sockpuppets' or using multiple accounts to get around a bannings, etc. But I don't see your creating an upfront second account for the reason you did as anything that should be against the rules.

 

The key point being "to get around a banning," so I agree. I disagree on the "trolling" issue... as the definition is vague enough to include most people. ""Trolling" for a response" say... to me, the idea is to evoke responses, otherwise all threads should consist of one comment... no more. I also don't agree with the "likely to offend" provision in the rules for the same reason, it's too vague. It calls for a judgement that is unique to each comment instead of one that applies to all comments... and the judgement will differ from person to person anyway.

 

Heck, I'd go back to my old account just for clarity sake if it wasn't working so poorly. I don't care what my "handle" is, I just don't want to watch every post I write to time out again and again. I don't know what is wrong with it but this one works fine.

Not really. That's just how it appears through your Right-wingnut blinders. Once you attached them to a closed system, you're likely to see exactly what you want to see. If you add in the problem of hearing loss and the insertion of both index fingers into each ear hole, heck you're practically in a Matrix of your own creation.
