Tuesday, 14 March, 2000, 23:19 GMT Kennedy relative charged with murder A Kennedy family relative has appeared in court charged with murdering his 15-year-old neighbour a quarter of a century ago. It took awhile to get around the Kennedy family protection net but they finally were able to bring this guy to court and he was sentenced from 20 years to life. This was Robert Kennedy Jr. cousin. Michael Kennedys father was the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy. Norfolk County District Attorney Jeffrey Locke said that he had no compelling evidence that would warrant any further investigations into the statutory rape accusations brought against Kennedy. However, the prosecutor did say that he would be ready, willing, and able to reopen the case if the baby sitter, now a 19yearold college sophomore, decided to cooperate http://articles.cnn.com/1997-07-10/...ation-that-supplies-heating?_s=PM:ALLPOLITICS
Therefore the righties believe it's necessary to stop funding the benefits the poor receive so the poor can eventually die off and the lefties won't have as many voters on their side. Understood.
McCarthyism -McCarthyism is the practice of making accusations of disloyalty, subversion, or treason without proper regard for evidence. The term has its origins in the period in the United States known as the Second Red Scare, lasting roughly from the late 1940s to the late 1950s and characterized by heightened fears of communist influence on American institutions and espionage by Soviet agents. Originally coined to criticize the anti-communist pursuits of Republican U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin Guess what, the Kennedy family were friends with Joe McCarthy. Bobby Kennedy was his legal counsel and helped go after innocent people for political gain which means Power. Guess what even if Joe McCarthy was a republican "He dated two of Kennedy's daughters, Patricia and Eunice,[48][49] and was godfather to Robert F. Kennedy's first child, Kathleen Kennedy. Robert was chosen by McCarthy as a counsel for his investigatory committee http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCarthyism The Kennedy family did not care about the common man nor the negro civll rights plight, LBJ did, they cared about Power. The female members I came across in NYC regarding the Special Olympics seemed to be great but the men from that family are really monsters in disguise, stranger danger as they say these days.
Andy, do you know the difference between political policy and one's personal life. One is the way you live your life outside of your profession and the other is the things you do while pursuing your political goals. Tell me exactly where the Kennedy's have pursued a political strategy to help the wealthy over the poor. I don't care if they were into monkey sex and antiquing in their personal lives as long as they stood for the right causes when they showed up at the office. You seem to think that assassinating them personally is the equivalent of them not standing up for the less fortunate. Are you really that slow? They clearly used their wealth to enact policies that help the elderly, the poor, and children who were not rich and didn't have the ability the Kennedy's had to influence policy. Where do you see someone like Romney or any Republican doing the same thing? The answer is you don't because they are the party of the wealthy, bought and paid for by the wealthy for the wealthy. If you haven't figured that out by now, perhaps slow was actually a compliment or at least sugar coating your actual intellect.
I'm just wondering ...what kind of question is that? Clearly the last few posts by Andy have revealed insights into the Kennedy's personal lives.
Hey, I didn't take either side. I am simply curious as how moen could possibly know what was discussed behind closed doors at the Kennedy compound. Don't you think if anyone else would have made that sort of declaration he would be asking the same thing?
The question was absolutely stupid because I never claimed to know what they were discussing behind closed doors I merely said that there was a difference between ones personal life and the public policies they fought for. Why does that confuse you so badly?
I'm not exactly trying to take sides here either, I'm attempting to clarify. IMO, the answer to your previous question was self-evident. But now you've caused another problem, that of misdirection. The new guy's earlier comment had no such declaration of "knowing" what was discussed behind closed doors at the kennedy compound, therefore your latest question is also unwarranted, IMO.
