iqless claimed I used the phrase "mild discomfort" when in fact I did not. For the record, I do not believe "mild discomfort" and "temporary discomfort" mean the same thing. Sure, I toyed with iqless (not fair, right?) because he wandered so far off the trail he couldn't begin to see the distinction.
I'm really surprised you have clamped onto this issue so firmly...I guess I overestimated you.

And of course we all know that this silly distinction is the real issue here and one that must be cried aloud from the highest pedestal because it is so important to the issue of torture that everything else must not be discussed until this tangential point can be made and saved to throw back in someone's face later as the ultimate proof of just how wrong they were about everything that they’ve ever said. You simply gotta love the "logic" the Right clings to. And this is what passes for the defense of their person ignorance these days. Sad really, just sad but further proof that education should never be taken for granted.

BTW I also like the way the fearsome threesome have decided that they cannot beat me so they’ve chosen to not respond to my posts. I prefer this actually. Nothing they say makes any sense anyway and I have been talking at them for years already. What’s the difference if I don’t end up having to responding to their pointless, thoughtless, poorly conceived nonsense? They make me laugh.

I think this thread is about as useful as a glass of sand is to an Arab. The only reason any of us come here is to pick on dumb animals. Like most of the OP's threads, the topic is poorly thought out, highly partisan and usually shredded to pieces before the first page is completed. I shredded the premise behind this half-bake thread by #18 and they couldn’t and still haven’t acknowledged the fact. All that is left after that is to play will those too dull-witted to know that they are being played with.
