I really like Bill O'Reilly. He's such a complete twit, it's hard not to like him.

He starts off with: "President Obama was elected largely because he promised a new tone in Washington D. C." Meh. This is O'Reilly's scriptwriters' "opinion," crafted solely to set up this piece. I think that he was elected because the American people decided that the opposing ticket was an even worse choice than he was. Nothing more, nothing less. If he's re-elected, it will be for the same reason.

Mr. O'Reilly is off to a fine start, snuffling along, baying at the trail of somebody's dirty socks.

"With all due respect" = "F this guy"

He goes on to describe and show an ad created, not by the Obama campaign, but by a pro-Obama super-PAC called "Priorities USA Action." That doesn't excuse the Obama campaign though. The simple fact is, both sides are slinging mud, and to expect one side to be "above" the normal political game is absurd. O'Reilly knows that perfectly well, but one of his standard schticks is the disingenuous po-faced act. He does it well; it's another reason I like him.

And O'Reilly is considered more than a partisan hack commentator by whom? He certainly doesn't practice journalism. Commentary in the guise of news is still commentary. Billy can have his opinions but in the end, they are still just his bought and paid for opinions.

The Romney campaign is slinging mud? We've all seen the lies BO is telling but I haven't heard the same thing in Romney ads.

What a kool-aid drink fool you are.

Here is two lies: Obama is trying to prevent Ohio vets from voting. (Deemed a total and complete lie by..well EVERYONE.)
And Two, Obama is gutting the welfare work requirement. (Again, deemed a total lie by, again, EVERYONE.)

Both campaign Ads from Romney and both total lies. If you've sucked up too much kool-aid by this point to know why these are both lies, which I'm sure you have, you're a lost cause anyway.

It's funny how the libs want every entitlement recipient they can get to show up at the polls without ID's but then turnaround & attempt to disenfranchise vets.

Heard an interview with one of the authors of the welfare reform act last night. Interesting perspective. First of all, he absolutely agrees that when implemented, Obama's directive would totally gut the act. However, you are partially correct - it will not gut the act. He says the bill was specifically written to not allow what Obama has done (by anyone, incidentally). Thus, the courts will overrule his directive and everything will return to the status quo.

Obama's last election was all based on "Change". Yes die hards will stay with their party no matter what but independents were certainly fooled.

Oh, and no presidential candidate has ever campaigned on some variation of "We need to clean up Washington D. C." before. Candidate Obama was selling the same stale snake oil that has been seen in the hands of presidential candidates pretty much since such varmints have existed. I don't have a very high opinion of the intelligence of the American public, but even I give them enough credit to recognize that fact. I stand by my earlier analysis. No matter what Obama was self-righteously intoning during his campaign, it was the simple fact that the majority of voters (probably especially so-called "independents") thought the opposing ticket was a worse choice that got him into office.

And he did! Blindness is always the consequence of Republicanism. He can't dispute the fact that the Ohio vet lie was put out by Romney nor can he dispute the welfare work requirement lie Romney also put out there so he ignores them altogether. The definition of blindness.

Does it bother you to be so predictable?

Wow that says a lot right there and what do you base this premise on since so much has been invented and created in this nation by common american folk from various backgrounds.

I base it on decades of experience dealing with the American public, and watching the antics of the American public, and reading the history of its behavior. In this I'm making a judgment of the general mass of people. I know perfectly well that certain individuals are inventive and creative. I wasn't talking about individuals though, was I?

Yes, I guess the Marshall Plan of rebuilding Europe after World War II was a bad experience for generations of Europeans. What were those silly Americans thinking of.
Is this is what you are referring to Recusant or is it another type of behavior, please tell.
