Ronald Reagan is responsible for the meth problem

This episode of Frontline http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/meth/ details how Reagan blocked a bill that would have eliminated ephedrine (the key ingredient in meth). In case you are unaware meth is a much worse problem than all other drugs combined (not including alcohol).
Ronald Wilson Reagan (666) single handedly created one of the worst problems we face (WAY BIGGER PROBLEM THAN TERRORISM)

 

I'm not sure Ronald Reagan is solely to blame for the meth problem in the US. It's only a problem b/c its a cheap and easy drug to manufacture, and highly addictive even on the first hit.

It's George Bushs problem for not coming up with a solution! LOL

You know, Ronald Reagan really is responsible for the meth problem. Rumor has it that Ronald Reagan (666) actually owns and operates the meth factories. Not only that (666), but this evil facist also forces people to use methamphetamines, thus (666) getting them hooked and wanting to by more. It should also be noted that Ronald Reagan did not (666) die (666), but rather faked his death, so that he could avoid prosecution for his (666) being the meth Kingpin. According to Frontline he could have easily eliminated ephrederine thus eliminating meth but he blocked the bill.

 

Zane you quoted Frontline in another thread (the 911 video one) do you only find them valid when they back your cause?

 

I'm not questioning the validity of frontlines assertions that Reagan allowed pseudophedrine to be released for sale to the public.

 

The author of this thread,( who is on my ignore list-well he is the list), is the type of person who would yell out "fire" in a safe movie house if that movie house was playing a Ronald Reagan movie and he wouldn't care how many people would get hurt.

 

Sometimes I wonder if "Danr" isn't really just some type of a spam bot designed to pick up on key words in posts and use them to generate random threads and responses. It would explain a lot.

Check out the Frontline episode in reruns on PBS if you get a chance. Reagan acted on behalf of the big drug companies and to the detriment of the Americasn people (treason).

BTW I do find it funny when closed minded people are directly confronted with the truth. It is very difficult for them to deal with the truth and they sometimes wig out but that will not stop me from presenting true items.

 

well, not that it likely would have mattered, but the thread probably would have gained more serious attention without the parallel between Reagan and the devil... not that I disagree, mind you, but...

C'MON PEOPLE! It's PBS for crying out loud. It's one of the last avenues of unbiased media that most of you have complained about in other threads. Just because, heaven forbid, it is not YAAAY REAGAN is no reason to dismiss it.

Reagan isn't responsible for meth, nor did he act on the behalf of the "big bad drug companies" If someone wanted to synthesize pseudoephedrine or ephedrine, it could be done no problem, and we would still have meth.

 

There are 9 facilities in the world that produce that stuff (only 9 in the entire world). The reason that there are so few is that it is not easy to produce it. Check out the Frontline episode if you get a chance.

 

Only 9 plants? What's that, they use batch manufacturing? Danr, 1 plant could easily make enough to meet the current demand.

 

There are fake drug companies set up in Mexico who buy it by the ton (with no binder). You can not do that in the USA. It is mostly manufactured in India. In the past 3 or 4 years most meth in the USA has been made in Mexico. That is why I'd love to see better control of the border. Anyway you can not make pseudoephedrine or ephedrine in your back yard, you are probably thinking of the process used to turn pseudoephedrine or ephedrine into meth which can be done in your back yard.
