Hell, they are some of the #1s that should be searched and scanned.... In fact, EXTRA searched and scanned.

 

Why? We would be singling them out, and giving them exactly the kind of ammunition they need to MAKE it a racial/religious issue.

Also, they shouldn't be subject to anything others aren't subject to. That's discrimination.

 

You do know Middle Eastern people are already being singled out and extra searched for a long time now and with good reason right? When I used to work for United we were straight up told of this. The "random search lottery" feature on the computer system is programmed to choose Middle Eastern sounding names to "randomly" search. And many of these people knew this already because they mentioned to me that they didn't buy that this was a "random" search cuz the computer system just happened to choose them at all the other airports they had to travel thru or always do when they travel. The system also chooses people who pay with cash, buy a one way ticket or buy a ticket last minute.

 

It's still discrimination, whether it's "already being done" or not. It's not right, and it's not ONLY middle easterners who are/can be terrorists. Search the hell out of all of us and make it REALLY random.

Perhaps we should focus on finding terrorists instead of muslims
