John Podesta: I've Convinced Hillary Clinton To Declassify UFO Files
"I think the American people can handle the truth about this," Clinton's campaign manager said.

John Podesta, campaign manager for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and a longtime advocate for government disclosure of UFO files, said Clinton is ready to look into the issue.

"I've talked to Hillary about that," Podesta told KLAS-TV Politics NOW co-host Steve Sebelius during a campaign stop in Las Vegas. "There are still classified files that could be declassified."

He continued: "I think I've convinced her that we need an effort to kind of go look at that and declassify as much as we can, so that people have their legitimate questions answered. More attention and more discussion about unexplained aerial phenomena can happen without people -- who are in public life, who are serious about this -- being ridiculed."

Podesta made it clear that "the UFO question has been discussed" with Clinton, KLAS reporter George Knapp reveals in the above video (which includes statements from this reporter). The station broadcast the interview on Tuesday.

Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, made headlines in January when she told the Conway Daily Sun newspaper in New Hampshire that she would "get to the bottom of" the mystery behind unexplained aerial objects.

UFOs have been hovering around Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, for decades.

At a 2005 speech in Hong Kong, Bill Clinton told about his efforts to look into the phenomenon:

"I did attempt to find out if there were any secret government documents that reveal things, and if there were, they were concealed from me, too. I wouldn't be the first president that underlings have lied to or that career bureaucrats have waited out. But there may be some career person sitting around somewhere hiding these dark secrets, even from elected presidents. But, if so, they successfully eluded me, and I'm almost embarrassed to tell you I did try to find out."

Podesta, who was Bill Clinton's White House chief of staff, for years has called on the U.S. government to declassify UFO files. In a 2002 speech at the National Press Club in Washington, he said, "I think it's time to open the books on questions that have remained in the dark on the question of government investigations of UFOs.

"It's time to find out what the truth really is that's out there," Podesta said. "We ought to do it because it's right. We ought to do it because the American people, quite frankly, can handle the truth. And we ought to do it because it's the law."

After spending a year as President Barack Obama's senior adviser, Podesta tweeted on Feb. 13, 2015, that his biggest regret was "not securing the disclosure of the UFO files."

Podesta told KLAS he's been criticized for his position on UFO disclosure.

"I come in for my fair share of people raising questions about whether I'm off my rocker, but I've been a longtime advocate of declassification of records," he said. "People really want to know what the government knows."

Sorry. Now for UFOs...

It's true that even Presidents are unable to penetrate the secrecy behind certain covert Military activities involving the research and development of emergent technology. They don't have a "need to know" clearance for that. Compounding the secrecy is the way these covert activities are conducted. They are compartmentalized, with no single person actually knowing the whole. Even the Project Managers only know so much about their particular projects, and asking the wrong questions is tantamount to suicide, in some cases.

In this way, the individual projects are protected from foreign agents who inevitably infiltrate even the most secretive of projects. It's long been understood that it's impossible to prevent foreign agents from acquiring other's research in relation to commerce. The concern that these agents would inevitably find ways to infiltrate our most covert research projects is very real.

The same thing applies to U.S. citizens, in that the fear is that an ordinary citizen might steal valuable knowledge and sell it to a third-party, such as one of our "enemies". And so, the system was designed to be compartmentalized in order to limit how much knowledge would be capable of being "leaked".

A lot of that covert research has military applications, such as systems that defeat radar and anti-missile technologies...things that attempt to help keep our military safe from enemy fire.

I've read countless examples of people refusing to believe that it was flares dropped from military airplanes over military ranges and not E.T. coming back for another vacation. I've noted that volcanoes produce plasma balls that convince people that a spirit from the volcano has just escaped. I've noted that dust on a lens can fool experts for years and that photographs can be staged.

The answer is: fake. For many years, this image was considered "proof", and is even still considered proof today by some people, even though the people who staged it admitted to it.

One last thing...."UFO" is short for "unidentified flying object", not "E.T.'s back, baby!" That doesn't mean that alien life coming to our World is complete bullshit, it just means that the vast majority of sightings have a rational, scientific explanation.

In fact, their is evidence of alien life on Earth, at least in the form of microscopic fossils that arrived here from other planets (Mars, in particular) as meteors. As far as I know, that evidence is sketchy, at best. It may actually be the result of someone trying to read more into something that isn't actually there, like when someone looks at a cloud and sees Elvis. I've been over that...Elvis is in our nut-sacks. Thank you very much.

 

Why would any life form from another planet come here? This planet is infested with microbes, parasites, predators, assailants, weirdo's, and perverts, and that is just the Dumbocrap party. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!!!!!!

DOJ Exonerates Clinton's Handling Of Email But Few Report It

It's a disgrace that the only "major" media outlet to report this was the right-wing Washington Times. After months of having Hillary Clinton's email non-scandal gracing every major media outlet in the country, not one single Beltway reporter caught this one until the Washington Times did. And even after they did, no one reported it until late Friday, when Buzzfeed and Chris Hayes managed to scrounge a report about it.

That's a disgrace.

In a little noticed brief, filed on Wednesday to a federal court, Department of Justice lawyers outlined a comprehensive defense of the contentious decision by Hillary Clinton to wipe the private email server she used as secretary of state: The attorneys assert that, regardless of whether she used a personal or government account, Clinton was within her legal right to handpick the emails that qualified as federal records — and to delete the ones she deemed personal.

“There is no question that former Secretary Clinton had authority to delete personal emails without agency supervision — she appropriately could have done so even if she were working on a government server,” write the Justice Department attorneys, representing the State Department in the brief.

The lawyers add that under policies issued by the State Department and by NARA, the National Archives and Records Administration, government employees “are permitted and expected to exercise judgment to determine what constitutes a federal record.”

Can someone please tell me why there's always extra air time for the likes of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz and breathless reports about why Hillary might go to jail, but when the official legal opinion of the United States Department of Justice comes out, there's radio silence?

(It's rhetorical. We all know the answer.)

This coverage has been an utter disgrace right from the beginning, and it's not just doing harm to her candidacy. It's doing harm to our democracy. Imagine what they'll do to Bernie Sanders or any other candidate they view as a serious threat to a Republican presidency.
