    Teacher Apologizes for Bugging Colleague

    Jul 20, 2007

It would seem that the school administration are the only one's who can do this and have it be O.K.

Hmmm, times sure have changed. Wonder what we would have gotten for (Centerville Homeroom Opossum Incident) putting the creature in Mrs. Kornagey's desk? That creature went berserk when she opened the desk drawer. So much for a sullen slow moving reputation...

In 1977 we (all the opossum conspirators) each got five licks with the "board of education" :D :D :D

The sentence seems adequate for the 'crime.'

Once a teacher or college professor attains tenure then it takes a very bad misdeed to lose your credentials. While I do understand that it takes a lot to teach some of the nasty brats that inhabit our public school system, I for one would do away with tenure even though most of my family work in that environment.

Tenure isn'' the problem in most cases, but rather the UNION in which these people belong and the political power they have that makes it almost impossible to get rid of inferior teachers. And there are any number of them in the public school system, who belong to the NEA and are protected by stupid agreements that they have been able to force upon the local boards. Don' t underestimate the power of the UNION as they will use every trick in the trade to get their way and hold power over all they touch.

By the way, the UNION paid this womans fine of $250 for her, and was able to make the school board give her anothe position of equal pay and position, in another of their schools.

Old Dan, I can see you know nothing about the public school system. You can probably brand cows and are very good at it.

In any job there are good workers and there are bad workers. I myself am a lazy worker but I use my lazyness to my advantage. I use my minions to do my bidding even though I am a private. What tenure does is keep the ones only along for the ride a secure job.

Out side of serving on the local school board for the last 33 years, you are probably rigtht. I do a lot better with the cattle as they have no union to fight when it comes time to put down the useless ones among them.

Here is a little talk related to Hillary ( out next President) and her involvement with the Teachers Union. Give it time to load and then turn up the volume.

Old Dan, I have done most every job there is but I was never given tenure. I had to use my wits.

Garth Brooks sings a song with some of us in mind... "The American Honkey Tonk Bar Association."
http://www.cowboylyrics.com/lyrics/brooks-garth/american-honky-tonk-bar-association-4986.html I've bolded a few key stanzas which highlight membership requirements and applications... ;)

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    If your paycheck depends on
    The weather and the clock

    If your conversation calls for
A little more than a coffee pot
If you need to pour your heart out
And try to rectify some situation
    That you're facing
Contact your American Honky-Tonk Bar Association

When Uncle Sam dips in your pocket
For most things you don't mind
But when your dollar goes to all of those
    Standing in a welfare line

Well rejoice you have a voice
If you're concerned about the destination
    Of this great nation
It's called the American Honky-Tonk Bar Association

    It represents the hardhat
    Gunrack, achin'-back
    Over taxed, flag-wavin', fun-lovin' crowd

They're heart is in the music
And they love to play it loud
    There's no forms or applications
    There's no red tape administrations

It's the American Honky-Tonk Bar Association

    We're all one big family
Throughout the cities and the towns
    We don't reach for handouts
we reach for those who are down

And every local chapter has a seven day a week
    Available consultation
    For your frustration
It's called the American Honky-Tonk Bar Association

    It represents the mud flaps
    Six pack, beer crack
    Over-taxed, flag-wavin', fun-lovin' crowd

They're heart is in the music
And they love to play it loud
    There's no forms or applications
    There's no red tape administrations

It's the American Honky-Tonk Bar Association
