I posted this in a related thread, but it deserves it's own, considering how fast scotty is running away from the original thread. Russian intel officer flew in for Republican Convention to oversee Donald Trump’s platform change By Bill Palmer | March 9, 2017 Palmer Report Yesterday we brought you yet another name that now must be added to the list of alleged Trump-Russia conspirators: Konstantin Kilimnik. Politico has exposed that Kilimnik had flown in for the Republican National Convention and then bragged about his role in getting the GOP party platform changed in Russia’s favor. But now Rachel Maddow has pieced together that Kilimnik was a Russian intel officer. Maddow made the connection during her Thursday evening MSNBC program, and oddly enough, she did so by connecting Politico’s latest reporting with an older Politico report on Kilimnik. In a separate development this week, two former Donald Trump campaign aides, Carter Page and J.D. Gordon, are now both asserting that it was Donald Trump himself who personally pushed them to make the GOP platform change. This all adds up to a newly startling big picture: Donald Trump personally spearheaded the Republican Party platform change to a pro-Russian stance during the Republican Convention, even as three of his campaign advisers were meeting with the Russian Ambassador during the convention, and a Russian intel officer from the Putin-controlled GRU flew in to the convention to personally oversee the entire chain of events. This now raises so many vital questions that it’s not even clear which should be asked first: Just how important was this GOP platform change to Vladimir Putin that he had two of his top people on the ground in Cleveland to make sure it happened? How inept was the Trump campaign that they needed this much direct adult supervision from the Russians just to change one line of text? And perhaps most importantly, how can Donald Trump claim not to have known his advisers were all conspiring with Russia, when the conspiracy – including a Russian intel officer mysteriously showing up in Cleveland to work with his team at the convention – was playing out so blatantly in front of him? Trump’s narrow window for plausible deniability about the Russian conspiracy continues to close by the day. You can run scotty, you can ignore this all you want, but it isn't going away....your party is fucked.
Time for a different tactic: We all know scotty's OK with trump colluding with Russia, but what about the other so-called conservative republicans here? What do you say rlm? Do you believe an investigation is warranted into whether or not trump has been colluding with Russia? What about david? Does david believe such an investigation is warranted? How about you, arizonajack? Is an investigation warranted? justafarmer, do you have any opinion on whether or not an investigation is warranted? Any other so-called conservative republican want to answer the question? Is there any one of you so-called conservative republicans who would put their partisanship aside and admit that trump's connections to Russia are an issue for the country? Think about it. paul manafort is pro-Russia. rex tillerson is pro-Russia. trump is pro-Russia. And the names and connection go on and on and on. manafort was trump's campaign manager for fuck's sake. Where the hell did trump get his name from, if not from a pro-Russian tool? How about tillerson? He was awarded the Order of Friendship medal by putin himself, and you don't see a problem with that, especially as the new Secretary of State? If you have any integrity at all, you so-called conservative republicans will admit that an investigation into trump's connections with Russia are not only necessary, they are imperative, as a matter of National Security.
Clueless, I'm going to chime in your private jerk off session, and ask you a question I asked The Sniveler; How much Uranium did Trump sell to Russia, how much did Russia donate to Trump's foundation, and how much $ did Trump's campaign manager personally pocket? Thank you
That's not an answer jack, and you know it. Furthermore, your questions are bullshit, but I'll answer them anyway. As far as I know, trump was incapable of selling uranium to Russia until recently. As far as I know, he hasn't sold any uranium to them, and is unlikely to in the future. As far as I know, Russia has not donated any money to trump's foundation. There is evidence of a man named Victor Pinchuk, a Ukranian businessman, donating $150,000 to trump's foundation, to get trump to speak, via satellite, at a conference held in Kiev in the early days of the presidential campaign. trump said at the conference "Victor is a very, very special man. A special entrepreneur,” after receiving the donation. Other notable donors to trump's foundation include New York ticket-reselling mogul Richard Ebers ( a regular contributor), professional wrestling's Vince McMahon, People Magazine and Comedy Central. I have no idea what trump's campaign managers were paid, though I'll assume they weren't paid any salary, but received undisclosed benefits that were likely improper and possibly illegal. So there you have it. Now answer the question, jack. Is an investigation into trump's connections with Russia warranted?
Yes. And that investigation will lead directly to the CIA. Now, about that Uranium. Should that be investigated?
Uranium has already been "investigated", so no. What should be investigated is why people are so dumb they build nuclear power stations on beach fronts known to have tidal waves. The Fukushima disaster has in essence contaminated the entire Pacific ocean. In addition to that, our military had lobbied for the nuclear waste from Pacific Island testing to be disposed of directly into the ocean. Scientists warned that doing so was stupid, and successfully lobbied the government to dispose of it on land. The result of that was a giant pit built onto a thin island in the pacific that was filled with radioactive debris from the tests and later covered with concrete panels. The work was finished in 1979 and today (2017) there is evidence of it leaking into the ocean as well as concern that cracks in the concrete dome will eventually cause structural failure and a massive release of nuclear waste into the ocean. Our government itself 'washed it's hands" of any liability, putting that liability on the islanders they removed from the area back before testing was begun. The islanders themselves do not have the know-how or the funds necessary to maintain the broken structure. The islanders were allowed to return to at least one of the islands, despite the danger of radioactivity, some elements having half-lives of 20,000+ years. Meanwhile, the oil industry here in the U.S. is allowed to pump oil waste water both underground and into the Gulf of Mexico causing earthquakes, polluting water sources and killing off indigenous life. So, why are people so stupid? I know some of them are not, but why is the average American a dumb-ass?
Why? Because they are so hung up on personal comfort, and avoiding personal sacrifice that they would sooner turn the thermostat up to 72 and wear t-shirts in the house than wear a sweater and turn the temp down to 60 . . . THAT'S WHY. By the way . . . the former is a liberal and the latter is a conservative.
When you can produce evidence (not innuendo) showing that Russia really talked to someone in the Trump campaign about the campaign. And your CIA, FBI etc. sources have to be non-political. In the mean time, there is significant PROOF that there have been criminal leaks from the security services. They need to be discovered and prosecuted
In other words, typical partisan bs. If any of this had occurred under a Democratic President's reign, there would be no end to the investigations. Yet, under a republican's reign, it's all "unsubstantiated rumor". The only one of you who had the balls to say an investigation into trump's connections to Russia is warranted is Jack, who said it would lead to the CIA instead of the trump campaign, transition and administration, where the actual evidence is. Pathetic partisan bs, and that's the real reason why the U.S. is faltering.
You mean like Holder did not have anything to do with wiretapping the reporters? OOPS! He signed the papers. You mean like Obama did not promise "you can keep your insurance/doctor? OOPS! He admitted it. You mean like Holder did not know of Fast and furious? OOPS! We have meeting records. You mean like Obama jobs were not "shovel ready"? OOPS! He admitted it. etc.
I've offered to pay for his bus fare. He has a bad heart (in several ways) and probably couldn't walk there, regardless.
