But it is much better right?! You get more choice, as long as you include the choice to not have health insurance. What a bunch of nonsense. When will you Reich-wingers ever learn?

24 Million People Stand To Lose Insurance Under GOP Obamacare ‘Replacement’
That’s a lot of people losing their health insurance.
    By Jeffrey Young

American Health Care Act, conceived by House Speaker Paul Ryan"(R-Wis.) and endorsed by President Donald Trump, has already been approved" already been approved on party-line votes in two House committees.

These negative findings give lie to Trump’s repeated promises that the Republican alternative would provide universal coverage and lower prices for Americans. Shortly before taking office, for example, Trump told The Washington Post, “We’re going to have insurance for everybody” that would be “much less expensive and much better.”

Congressional GOP" leaders already are embroiled in a major struggle to get rank-and-file lawmakers to embrace the legislation, and a negative CBO score could make their goal of passing a health care reform bill in the House and Senate and sending it to Trump’s desk by mid-April even more difficult.

The law Republicans are trying to “replaceextended health coverage to 20 million previously uninsured people, reduced the national uninsured rate to the lowest ever recorded and is projected to reduce the federal budget deficit by as much as $137 billion to $353 billion by 2025, according to a 2015 Congressional Budget Office analysis 2015 Congressional Budget Office analysis.

Humana CEO's $19.7 million pay nearly double from previous year

Humana CEO Bruce Broussard’s total compensation nearly doubled last year to $19.7 million, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing Wednesday.
Broussard’s haul came during a year in which the Louisville-based company’s planned sale to competitor Aetna began to fall apart amid antitrust concerns. Humana and Aetna finally parted ways in February.

Humana’s stock shot up 14 percent in 2016 to close around $205 a share, compared to an 8.6 percent gain for the broader S&P 500 stock index. The company’s adjusted earnings per share of $9.45 also met the board’s target range of $8.41 to $9.59, according to the filing.

Humana’s stock has continued to climb since the Aetna deal fell through as executives have not ruled out being a takeover target for another company. The company’s shares traded at about $218 on Wednesday.

Company executives and board members have cashed out over $70 million in Humana stock in recent weeks.

Humana also laid off an unspecified number of employees in Louisville and other sites in a strategic realignment last month.

Right, they need to lay off people to pay the CEO a massive raise, just like republicans want to make it impossible for millions of people to afford health insurance so that the wealthiest of us can get a massive tax break.

No one wants to make it impossible for millions of people to afford health insurance. Obama already did that, and we're trying to make that situation better. You're just scared of losing all of the freebies you presently enjoy. Nothing should be free . . . nothing!

That's a pretty stupid reply. 20 million more people found that under the ACA, they could afford health insurance. We are currently at the highest number of insured people EVER!!!

Under trump/Ryancare, millions lose health insurance. Read the damn thing before you post stupid comments.

So much for this Trumpcare crapfest of an idea. The ACA was always the best program even after Republicans did everything they could to destroy it.

Years ago, so-called conservative republicans accused the ACA of having a "death panel" clause, one that intentionally allowed people to die.

Flash forward to the so-called conservative republican's efforts to repeal and replace the ACA with their own law, where millions who depend on the ACA to pay for their treatments are now in danger of losing it, of being unable to buy it on their own, many of which will die without those treatments.

It's also been said for years now that one way to understand what a so-called conservative republican is thinking or doing is to see what they are accusing others of doing. That hypothesis turns out to be true often, and does so in this instance, as the so-called conservative republican's ACA repeal and replacement law will, in effect, result in people dying, as an intentional act of Congress. In effect, so-called conservative republicans have created the "death panel" they were talking about.

You, specifically you, were the only person they had in mind with any so-called Death Panel. Look it up and get back to me on that.

BO counted those who previously had insurance, yet lost it under Obamacare, as "newly insured" when they sought it from another source to prop up the numbers.

And most of the rest kicks in this year. More mandates, higher costs! And less competition!

In decades past, people generally accepted that they were going to die young as a result of our society not giving a fuck. After the ACA was enacted, and people began to survive due to having access to health care that was previously denied them, they got a taste of what our society could be without the barriers so-called conservative republicans had created to provide that care. Now, those same so-called conservative republicans want to strip people of that access, and want to revert back to a society that doesn't give a fuck if people die of preventable and treatable diseases. So, society has a choice, give a fuck about each other, or don't. So-called conservatives are fighting to form a society that doesn't give a fuck, where liberals are fighting for a society that does.

The only part of this I am enjoying is knowing that a large percentage of Trump supporters are going to get screwed by the very people they elected. At least they will die sooner than later and rid the population of excess dumb asses. Ooh! I nearly did an Ebeneezer Scrooge there.

I like that trump, and his narcissistic personality disorder, likely isn't comfortable with people questioning his every word, his every move. It's got to be annoying as hell for someone who grew up spoiled rotten to have to deal with reporters, protesters and other citizens constantly questioning his ideas, his beliefs. He's used to "yes" men, but the Presidency is a place where your ideas and beliefs are always being assaulted by someone.
