White Supremacist Groups Have Been Urging Members To Loot Businesses In Minnesota
    FacebookTwitterSubscribeWhatsappPinterestRedditPrintMailFlipboard

As usual, the same folks – Trump supporters in particular – who stayed silent in the immediate aftermath of George Floyd’s murder at the hands of a police officer, are channeling most of their anger at so-called looters instead of America’s demonstrably unequal criminal justice system.

It turns out, according to Minnesota Department of Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington, white supremacist organizations could be behind the looting and destruction of local businesses.

“We have seen things like white supremacist organizers who have posted things on platforms about coming to Minnesota,” Harrington said during a press conference on Saturday.

He added, “We have seen flyers about protests where folks have talked about … going to get their loot on tonight, and we’re checking to see, are they part of an organized criminal organization?”

Harrington said authorities are looking into whether the arrests they have made over the past few days are tied to these white supremacist organizations.

112 people are talking about this

    Harrington said:

As we begun making arrests, we have begun analyzing the data of who we have arrested and begun actually doing what you would think is almost very similar to our COVID. It’s contact tracing. Who are they associated with? Who — what platforms are they advocating for? And we have seen things like white supremacist organizers who have posted things on platforms about coming to Minnesota. We are checking to see, do the folks that we have made arrests on and that we have information, are they connected to those platforms. We have seen flyers about protests where folks have talked about they’re going to get their loot on tonight, and we’re checking to see, are they part of an organized criminal organization? And if so, what is that organization and how is that — how are they organized? We have been working with both our state, our county, our local and our federal partners to start looking at issues around, is this organized crime? Is this an organized cell of terror? Where are the — where do these folks — where’s the linkage is what we’re doing and so we are in the process right now of building that information network, building that intel effort so that we can link these folks together, figure out what the organizations that have created this and then understand how do we go after them – legally?

The governor of Minnesota also said on Saturday that most of the people arrested on Friday night were from out of state.

Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey added, “I want to be very, very clear: The people that are doing this are not Minneapolis residents.”

Trump and his supporters want property destruction to be the main story
The vast majority of the protests unfolding in Minneapolis and all across the country have been peaceful. The demonstrators are simply voicing their anger about systemic racism in America’s criminal justice system.

A not-so-clever combination of two completely unrelated statements, assembled to make people believe that white supremacists are behind the rioting and looting in Minneapolis.

I can't decide if this is the stupidest dumb thing I've seen written this week, or the dumbest stupid thing I seen written this week.

    Either way, it's not good.

The sad part here is that YOU'RE an outside agitator here. I was born and raised in Minnesota and lived in Minneapolis for years. I know this city because I am a part of it. You simply spew your outsider opinions as if you actually know something. You don't. You're no better than the white supremacists.

I know that you won't take this as an insult. You are too proud of your own opinions to ever be insulted by facts and reason.

Obviously the left can’t handle the truth, or they have lost their collective minds.

Hitler used this technique to blame Jews and other groups he didn’t like for the nation’s ills. It was called, “The big lie,”

@FryDaddyJr has given us a new definition for the word “gullible” if he thinks this is true.

THAT'S a good one Joe. Not only do you pivot off my reply instead of acknowledging the accuracy of my post but, while you point out that my opinions are from outside Minnesota, as if that immediately makes them irrelevant, you divert from reality and spew invective that poorly represents the rest of America.

Know something Joe? I know this . . . more than you.

A bit late to the party, but I’ve got a couple words for you, Joe. Why is it that businesses that had no relation to that incident are being vandalized, and innocent people beaten up? My place of work was targeted, and because of those terrorists (not demonstrators, TERRORISTS), I’m not sure what to do. The neighborhood where I work has seen two Federal officers shot- 2 hours before, I was walking in the same neighborhood this tragedy happened. These pieces of shit are worse than the KKK, IRA, and ISIS combined. I AM NEVER VOTING DEMOCRAT AGAIN.

Well Joe, it looks like you’ve succeeded in swinging another voter across party lines. Keep it up Joe . . . We can’t thank you enough!

The media has reported that the vast majority of protesters are nonviolent, which is probably true. The trouble is the minority of violet protesters have destroyed business and burned buildings that will not be restored for years. These thugs are destroying neighborhoods. It’s not only a matter of destroying what is there now but also giving these areas a reputation that will discourage investment in the future.

The issue of the murder of a Black man by a White policeman has been almost totally marginalized. Instead of being the center of attention, these anarchists have seen to it that the murder now gets secondary coverage.

In addition, they have willfully contributed to urban decay in a very substantial way . . . something they perpetually blame on racism. The blind impulsiveness of these folks just undermines everything that could be better about their lives.

There is no question that many of the members of ANTIFA are White males. That does not make them White supremacists. In fact, they are quite the opposite. They are far leftists and anarchists who want to bring down the current government and social order.

They think that they are “anti-fascists,” but their tactics have made them quite the opposite. Earlier I compared them with Nazi Brown Shirts, who are their true political ancestors.

I agree with you. They should go home, and if I had my way, the ANRIFA members who commit arson, injure innocent people or loot stores should have a home in prison.

Now three people that have expressed no outrage at the police murdering a man in broad daylight but completely shocked by the aftermath that followed. Typical.

When those in charge of enforceing the laws are the biggest criminals, what difference does other crimes make?

People are sick of watching people being murdered again and again by police. Nothing ever gets done. We still have police kneeling on people's necks.

Nothing will change unless we start throwing these criminals with badges in prison. Double their sentences.

If you don't agree, you're just part of the problem. Shut up and go sit down.

Now wait a second, Joe. That is an unfair statement. One has nothing to do with the other. Burning a mans business has absolutely nothing to do with one renegade cop. These lawless people simply used this as an excuse to justify their own lawlessness.... This thing is now taking place in my city. I am just about two seconds from driving to my office and standing at my front door with a 12 gauge pump. Hell, I am old. I don’t give a damn. But I am not about to allow a crowd of thugs on a temper tantrum potentially destroy my business without a fight.

You don't even bother to read what other people write, do you Joe? You just put people boxes and label them as "all bad" because they don't agree with your far left politics.

I have tried to ignore you, but when you post lies like that, you deserve to be called out on it.

I tried to explain to him what ANTIFA is but he is either unable to read, or he is blind to the truth.

If you want to line up with ANTIFA @FryDaddyJr, go ahead, but it be a black mark on your reputation.

Nearly all Republicans reject the KKK and extreme hate groups. You Democrats need to do the same with ANTFA.

“If you don’t agree, you’re just part of the problem. Shut up and go sit down.” You remind me of someone... the Antifa gang that smashed windows and sprayed graffiti at my workplace? 100% You’re a trigger happy racist who agrees with these clowns, and blames the whites. You jealous that you didn’t get to loot Target or CVS and get some free shit? You sound like a moron or a terrorist sympathizer- can’t tell which one. Or, you’re a nasty old white guy who cannot stand that someone who happens to be multiracial doesn’t share your opinion.
I had sympathy for the Geo. Floyd demonstrators when they were peaceful. Now, that’s gone, and so is my sympathy. The cop (Chauvin) has been jailed. Now it’s the protestors’ turn.
As for Floyd, he had a criminal record- which you are either ignoring, or are too dense to realize.
