I am sick and tired of hearing people sing the praises of the white racist vigilante's on the Mexican Border who are harrassing Mexicans. It is none of their business and the vigilantes are not heroes or patriotic they are criminals and stalkers and most of them are probably a kkk.

Everyone has a right to come to this country not just white people from Europe. If George Bush was really a compassionate conservative he would have sent the National Guard to the border and then used them to arrest any one who is trying to harrass people coming over the border. What is it any business of USA citizens who comes into this country? That is between the US government and the Mexican government, ordinary USA citizens have no business worrying about who is coming into this country...and they need to mind there own business.

These are the same bickots who say that once the people have come here from Mexico and start a new life and are good law abiding working citizens that they have no right to Medicare and free medical treatment and relief if they need it, all because they are Mexicans. That is racist and it is a hate crime.

    This is a free country.

Well gee, when I go to foriegn countries I have to pass through immigration, show an ID, etc. I don't try to cross the border and enter the country illegally. I suppose we shouldn't have immigration laws?
It's our business more than it is the government's. It shouldn't be any other way. If it's ever the other way around, it would be an issue.
In this day and age, I disagree.

Shall we provide Medicare and free medical treatment for the entire world? Ignoring the fact that we provide aid, the system was never designed to (nor can it) support everyone whether they are citizens of other countries. If you want to complain about Mexicans not getting free medical treatment, here's the web site.

Even if you disagree with the immigration or medical benefits sytem, you have to understand and realize that there has to be a system of some sort. What exactly do you propose? Let anyone in and then give them free medical services and treatment? Don't think so.

Lets see. People are entering this country illegal. Once here they get free education, college loans, food stamps, welfare, free medical, and in most cases reduce or free housing and that goes with any money the father is bringing home from his low paying job that no American would do. Well that low paying job is costing Americans alot since we are providing all of the above to supplement that income.

Now lets look at what Mexico does to any illegal central americans that enter their country. First time deport. Second time arrested 10 years hard labor.

As for your comment on what business is it of American citizens in this matter for it is only the concern of the governments of Mexico and The United States, this is another post that proves OldDan's thread on education for you should know that the United States Government is for the people and by the people. The American Citizens are the United States.

    HoneyMaria,

Perhaps you should direct your anger at Mexico itself. Why is it that so many of its citizens are so quick to leave it. Because they are poor? Then why is there so many poor people in a nation that is rich in oil, resorts, food, etc....?

Let's see, you are mad because mexicans flee here, and are harrassed. Why aren't you upset with mexico, that is creating the environment they want to flee in the first place? It's not a racist thing, it's more of an issue of security. People could smuggle weapons across the border, and we certainly don't want that.

I wondered if this was a racist message bored now I know the answers. I am tired of all the hate crime. I just got a PIMS from one of the moderators and he told me I have to stop having liberal or left wing opinions, because it gets the members on edge. I guess the arayan's on this bored don't like it so ok don't get your white sheets in a bunch. I will be friends now.

This is the PM she is talking about:

What are you talking about? I doubt any of the moderators said that you cannot have a left wing opinion. There are tons of left wingers here, and they express their opinions daily. I think it's pretty ignorant of you to assume that because people don't think mexicans should be allowed to cross the border willy nilly, that they are racists, and commit hate crimes.

i had to unchain myself from a 400 year old sycamore tree and put down my pro gay anti war pickit sign for this one :D . i live in FL. and i just read that 1000 people a day move to florida to live. not from mexico or cuba but from other states taking up alot of good jobs, craming the schools so teacher to student ratio are ineffective, and making the cost of liveing for floridians unbearable(my 2 bed 2 bath house went from 85k to 150k in 2 years) . so if we can close the border to mexico then i want the rest of the us to stay out of florida.

    yeehaa and god bless america

i say if mexico really is so rich with resources that we claim it as number 51.
send all the mexicans back to vote that day and Bing!! number 51. then there would be no border to cross and we have more oil and resorts.

next we should come after you canada. you and your cheap lumber and beer.

I think we should make it so that immigration is easier. Instead of spending all this time & money fighting & deporting illegal immigrants, couldn't we just make it easier to become legal? What ramifications would that have?

Funny I have been accused of that white sheet thing before but if anyone ever saw me in public they would know that I can not get into that type of club nor do I have anything in common with the like.

    As for your thoughts.

You have a right to have them but throwing bombs is not going to back them or prove that they have merit.
It is usually the racially motivated or narrow minded who call those who disagree with them racists.

Like I said before, perhaps you should direct your anger at the Mexican government and ruling class that allows an oil rich, resort destination, food rich nation to have so many people who are poor and wish to leave.

Now that has to be one of the dumbest questions I think I have ever read!!!
I take that back. This one is even better!!

I can speak from a community that is probably 50% mexican. Maybe you need to re-write this statement. It is not because they are Mexican, yes they are hard-working, but because most are not American citizens. Almost every Mexican I am aquainted with works here and lives here but they are NOT citizens and all their extra money goes back to Mexico. They pay no taxes, no social security, no insurance, drive illegally, etc.. Just try to get into the post office on Friday afternoons here.

My wife who works in a pharmacy and her co-workers had to learn basic Spanish or lose their jobs because of all the illegals that cannot speak English comming into her store. And you wonder why people get mad!

I have no complaints about someone coming to this country and seeking citizenship to better their lives, but most of the Mexicans coming in have no plans to become citizens. They just want to make some good money, put it into a bank account in Mexico and then return home a rich Mexican, not an American. They thinks its funny and like to brag about it, and I knew several that weren't only sending money home but cheap cars also to resale at nice profits.

Of all the message boards on the whole wide Internet, why would a troll hang out at Cointalk?

I've been trying to figure that out myself. This is about the tenth time he's signed up here and tried to upset people.

Anyway, the Minuteman Project seems like an interesting topic for the general discussion. I can say that I wish our President was as good at securing our own borders as he is at securing Iraq's borders. But, I'm not anti-immigration at all, just anti-crime, and illegal immigration is a crime.

Ditto my Beautiful Bride, who obtained her citizenship on the first 4th of July that she was eligible, by studying US history and civics, and passing a written test in English.

You should hear her opinions on those who come here illegally and have no interest in becoming citizens!
