Well the economic situation seems to be continuing to hold the headlines.
Latest reports are that the Dow has lost 39% of its value in the last 366 days thats stocks down by som $8.3 Trillion over that period. The only ones showing any profit in the Americas are Cost Rica and Bermuda LOL

All the Asian markets are down heavily, the Indonisian and Russian markets have closed trading. Japan has had its worst week for 20 years, and the

European markets are on the whole following the Asian trend. The FT index opend up 10 points down but has pulled that back to 5 points, Paris, Frankfurt and all the rest are way down as well.

What I find funny is that so far the stock markets in Bangladesh and Pakistan are hovering on zero percent rise or fall :D plus in Europe the only one not in free fall is Iceland whos banking system has virtualy collapsed
A few are actualy showing a upward trend they all seem to be in the Mid east!

So guy's is this the time to buy :D

    We are the world
    We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
    So let's start giving

Welcome to the global economy. lol

As far as buying and selling, I think it is where you are at. If I was retired, I might be liking cash about two weeks ago. If I had 25 years until retirement, I probably wouldn't sweat it a lot. But, that is just me.

Of course, the above assumes that Gold, Silver and Lead don't become the only forms of currency here pretty quick. ;)

I got that warm fuzzy feeling after hearing George talk on the tele this morning. Every time that doofus talks the market goes down. The doofus in chief needs to learn to shut the fun up.

The designation of Bush as "doofus" is actually kind. I can think of a lot worse epithets for him.

Americans are already brain washed. Why if you look at their terrorist action movies it is usually eastern europeans as the terrorists and arabs are mistreated in the movies. If you look at school text books you read about the glory of islam and see nothing or little about christianity, if you look at child school books you see many images of muslims brainwashing kids that muslims are safe for you, if you look at the news you see them dividing the nation up and tearing down what made this nation strong. If you read the financial papers you see inbetween the print that they are buying up everything that leads to power-media/banks/ports etc. If you travel you will see that they are transferring wealth out of the west and building thier own great cities and their own stock markets with foreign workers and foreign consultants. All because of oil-black gold perhaps the devils tea that enable them to have such fiancial power which is translating to political power.

The arabs are manipulating the american and world economy to manipulate american and world politics. The end game is to morally, ethnically and financially bankrupt the western world so its population will shrink along with its power and in that void, muslim babies and islam power will take its place.

And on whose watch did this happen? No alternative fuel sources, all the while propping the Saudis to the hilt and holding hands with their King:

So cute. Meanwhile Osama Bin Barack or whatever his name is is loafing off in some cave in Pakistan.

To which school books are you referring? You need to name them, if you dont mind. And the movies also. Name the movies that depict middle easterners as victims? Back up these statements.

You haven't noticed this? Is Isa and I the only one on this forum who looks at our kids text books and sees the misinformation? As for the movies I could think off the top of my head The Kingdom of Heaven where the Christians were goons and the muslims the noble people, The Die Hard Series of movies where all of the terrorists were either european or americans,
The Bourne Ultimatin movies where our intelligence agencys are the bad guys,
    Deju-Vu-another american terrorist
The remake of the Manchurian Candidate where this time americans were the bad guys.
    Red Eye, etc.....
Oh yeah the Oliver Stone Movie on the Twin Towers was pretty tame on the horrid deaths that occurred hardly mentioned the terrorists and high lighted a few people drama as a token movie to the masses and that 911 movie was an independent flick made in Europe.

My kids have been out of school for a while. But you still didnt name the text. As for the Bourne movies; they were based on novels about a CIA director turning his son into a killer. 'The spy who came in from the cold' was about the corrurption of British intelligence. And that movie was over 40 years ago. 'The Kingdom' was about FBI agents investigating the bombing of Americans in Suadi Arabia. Blown up by Muslims, by the way. And if you mean that the FBI agants were the goons, well one of them was a jew not a christain. And if I'm not mistaken; in 'The Manchurian candidate'(the original), Shaw's mother was the key villian. I think, but I am not sure, that her portrayal was that of an American. I write that because the Shaw character was American. As for the Die Hard series. Did you see those movies by any chance? In the first one it turned out they werent terrorists. Just thieves. Remember Gruber saying,'' I am an exceptional one."? The second one, well that one sucked anyway. But the 3rd one was again stealing. And since it was Gruber's brother; it would seem kinda stupid to make him Arabic. Dont ya think? Maybe youre right tho. Because i saw amovie made in the early fifties with Fredric March and Humphrey Bogart called 'The desperate hours'. Bogart was a killer who broke into a house. I must say I was kind of suprised that Bogart didnt portray an Arab. I mean after all he was terrorizing an American family. Please name that school book that glorifies Muslims.

Everyone's feeling the pressure all 'round. It's the ones with external-funding that need help.

There are very few groups of people that it is politically correct to demonize. We have really gone off the deep end on being PC. I suppose the powers that be don't want to offend the Arabs. I say offend them and let the chips fall where they may.

I agree that the Western world is in a duel to the death with the Muslim world. I just hope that we (the West) will have the courage to do what may become necessary. I will let it go at that and let all here draw their own conclusions.

Um, there are acts of terrorism around the world everyday. The few enclaves of christians are being killed in Iraq right now to terrorize that community and make the west look bad. But if hollywood whose hugh blocks of stock shares are owned by arab muslims these days isn't making terrorist movies showing muslims doing physical acts of terrorism then how can I expect people to see the global ecomonic terrorism/manipulation that is also taking place on a daily basis.

As for text books I don't have to mention any particular one, the publishing companies have been taken over as well. Just go to any school anywhere that is public and in a major city or state and ask to see any copy of social science or reading series.

Why is it repoted at all now. To make the republicans look useless.

BAGHDAD (AP) — Hundreds of terrified Christian families have fled Mosul to escape extremist attacks that have increased despite months of U.S. and Iraqi military operations to secure the northern Iraqi city, political and religious officials said Saturday.

Some 3,000 Christians have fled the city over the past week alone in a "major displacement," said Duraid Mohammed Kashmoula, the governor of northern Iraq's Ninevah province. He said most have left for churches, monasteries and the homes of relatives in nearby Christian villages and towns.

"The Christians were subjected to abduction attempts and paid ransom, but now they are subjected to a killing campaign," Kashmoula said, adding he believed "al-Qaida" elements were to blame and called for a renewed drive to root them out.

Political and religious leaders interviewed said the change in tactics may reflect a desire on the part of extremists to forcibly evict all Christians from Iraq's third largest city.

Earlier this week, Chaldean Archbishop Louis Sako said he was worried about what he termed a "campaign of killings and deportations against the Christian citizens in Mosul."

Mosul police have reported finding the bullet-riddled bodies of seven Christians in separate attacks so far this month, the latest a day laborer found on Wednesday. On Saturday, militants blew up three abandoned Christian homes in eastern Mosul, police said.

No you dont have to mention any books at all. Because your statement is untrue. anyone can write anything on here. But for it to be credible, it needs proof. So keep on going Andy, with your anti-Arab rhetoric. What a buffoon. Love ya.
