Craig, your line of thought seems to be thoughtless. You attack Andy by saying he is attacking arabs while you seem not to know that there is a difference between Christian Arabs and Muslim Arabs. Andy even pointed out a recent attack of muslims killing christians in Iraq which you either didn't bother to read or chose to ignore. But the way you post here I guess you would not believe that either nor believe that a thousand years of Christians being killed has been going on by the muslims in the middle east which is why the birth place of Christianity, a place that once had numerous christian lands in now mainly a muslim. But I guess you never noticed the sword of Jihad in the Saudi flag either.

As for that picture being shown, the movie the 300 is a comic book version of the events that happened then and I do not recall if they went into detail in the movie but it was clear that they showed that the Persian forces were filled with soldiers from conquered lands-black guy from the beginning- which may be why that poor fellow in in chains. A common thing in armies of old going back to the egyptians where the conquered nations would have to give up a certain amount of young men to fight in the army and they would then be forced into battle first therefore ensuring that they fight what is ahead of them for they would have swords of the Egyptians and later Persians behind them.

By the way, The Saudi's(Sunni) do not like the Iranians (Shia) and the Iranians are the Persians. Perhaps that is the reason that movie got the green light.
