I am raising her strict Jehovah's Witness...I'M not a Jehovah's Witness but I am going to raise her as one all the same....I figure going door to door will keep her fit, I wont have to get her any christmas presents, birthday presents, or candy at easter and halloween. I live in America...not Pakistan...my daughter is American and she will do as she pleases here in America (though I wouldnt let any woman walk alone in the city without an escort to be honest with all the rapists running around)...My wife is one of those Muslims that just got her citizenship and is now American as well (we are planning a take over)...if we never go back to Pakistan, no loss...Instead most of her family is now living in western nations like belgium and america (a few in north Africa) If Arabs tried to change the laws of this land I would fight. All I see is a bunch of Christian white men here spitting on our freedoms and constitution trying to make us all live the way they think we should...not Arabs. ALL Muslims I know in America embody the spirit of America more than most Americans do...maybe because it means something to them because they know how bad it could be. I think every American should be required to live in Nigeria or Pakistan for a year, it will make them understand a truly dysfunctional government and nation. When the people of the west became more and more educated, who find that religion became more and more powerless to assert its will...they still try and try hard but there are enough people who know and see the problems that religion in government creates and thats a good thing. I have found that most educated Muslims are able to come to the US and live by our existing laws just fine...I know what its like on the ground in Pakistan and other middle eastern nations, I have lived and spent time there and speak from experience when I say most people there are like most people here, they are good people who just want to live a good life. If they have one problem it is that they are powerless and uneducated and are easily manipulated by bad men... Its a shame what happened in your country but dont think what happened there has any relevance to the US and dont think you can come here and continue in the same way. Here muslims lives next door to christian and Jew and if they have a problem with that...then they should get the hell out of here. I have an atheist living next door, a christian on the other side...a muslim family a few doors down and a few hindu as well...There is a mosque not 3 blocks away from my house and no less than 5 churches and a lot of christians and muslims in the area...we all live on the same block and we dont fight. It is how it is and always should be, if that changes...then I will see america as having truly lost. I don't see Islam taking over America. This forum is pretty amazing. We only have a small handful of posters but we have an incredibly diverse group in race, religion, national origin, age...just about whatever demographic you want. Many things posted here make me cringe but they are almost always enlightening.
They sure are, it is as though we have our own little microcosm of divergent opin collectively grouped herein.
