The shear number of hypocrites associated with Christian-based religions will always keep me from ever seeing the inside of the stained glass windows that block out any chance of real light shining into the dark corners of their cognitive sanctuaries. In other words, I don’t want to sit down next to a bunch judgmental hypocrites.

 

Religion whilst not in itself the cause of hypocrisy, is often the source of it.

 

I guess all I can add at this point is, AMEN!

 

I will say In Aidans defence that he has reasons for his attitude and to him they are very real and good reasons I totaly disagree with them but I can understand where he is coming from Old Dan on the other hand I dont know or understand why he appears to Hate Homosexuals so much perhaps it is a wind up ?
The Church and religion has been used many times in the past to support disgraceful actions and I have no idea how many have died in the name of God, But I dont blame the religions I blame those who pevert them for there own ends.

The Book of Romans actually does directly condemn homosexuals.You should have read that Book of the New Testament right through.You will see what I mean.

Why should we make a big deal of it? A fear of a group is one of the excepted psychologial reasoning behind the desire to commit Genocide against those different to oneself, another is that the bigot is perhaps unsure of his/her own sexuality and therfore feel threatend by openly gay people?? The fear is that if by associating and behave in a normal manner towards gays then somehow they will be contaminated by them and begin to display latent homosexual tendancies :whistle:

This statement is closer to reality. Good job Zaneman! The Bible/Testament or any other literature depicting the will of "GOD" was written by "Man" and all men are corruptable except one. So when in doubt listen to your holy spirit, you know the one that tries to tell you right from wrong, but you don't want to listen. Better yet ask yourself what would Jesus do?. Stop judging and condeming what you don't understand. Mostly for the sake of your soul "STOP HATING PEOPLE for THEIR FAULTS". God will sort it out in the end. Live life well and love, this is the will of god.

 

Hey OldDan, could you send some down here, I need a new set of wind chimes. Aidan is right, the Bible condemns homosexuality, and apparently most of you like living with perverts all around you. It makes me ashamed to be a human to see this stuff going on and to see you guys saying its okay. You're right Danr, I wish I was from another planet.

 

Don't you just love people who spew hatred and use the bible as support for their position? The bibles message couldn't be further from hatred and if YOU actually read it and were able to understand it, you'd realize just what a hypocrite you really are. Don't bother quoting the bible to support your hatred of others. It couldn't be less supportive of your view and makes you look extremely ignorant. If you want to hate some other group just do it. Saying the bible is on "your side", in order to justify your hatred is going to get you tossed directly in that lake of fire you so fervently believe in. Now that's one drowning I'd sure like to witness.

 

The Bible is used more for bad than good a lot of the time. Lets appreciate that the Bible has been written, rewritten, translated, opinioned etc, by hundreds of individuals over 3000 years. And all the while people have read it and intrepreted for their benefit and not that of mankind.

Did I say I hate perverts??? NO!!! I don't hate them, and neither does God. God loves all sinners, including you and me. But he says right there in the Bible(which Moen obviously doesn't read), that homosexuality is an abomination to him, which is pretty easy to understand. He also told the Israelites to execute people like that(look it up if you care), and in Romans he says its an abomination. You can't get around it, much as I know you'd like to. Don't bother saying for the million time that this isn't true, because the only people who will believe you are the ones who don't read the Bible.

 

I don't think that Homosexuals should be harmed in any way. However, I am sick and tired of seeing the lifestyle promoted to children and I am sick and tired of advocates pushing for adoptions and marriages which would lead to adoptions when that would expose kids to the possibility of being molestered.
After all Straight men are not suppose to adopt young girls as a precaution so why is the left pushing for gays to take in boys. All it takes is one in ten to have thousands of children being attacked nightly.

 

Actually more children have been adopted by heterosexual couples and abused. There are stories in the Russian press almost every week about this, including tales of children being killed by adoptive parents. Now there are stories in the American press:

Are homosexuals allowed to adopt boys in Russia?
I wonder what the results would be for I am sure the child molestors would all apply.

Children should not be place in harms way and society should take steps to protect all children especially those kids who have no parents. As for the kids abused by hetro-sexual couples, I would be very suprised if there was a lengthy background check and interview process in Russia or my country.

 

O.K. I'll look around and see if there are any available that are already 'hung'. Otherwise, you will have to decide on how you want them 'mounted'.

What makes you think that gays molest children with anymore frequency than non-gay people molest children? The truth is, by far the greatest number of child molesters are men. Not Homosexuals, nor women, but men. Maybe we shouldn't allow men around children as a precaution? Who said non-gay men couldn't adopt girls? The number one criterion for adoption is a household with two parents. A single woman would probably have as difficult a time adopting as a single man. I wonder what you would do if one of your children grew up to be gay? Who knows, maybe enlightenment would happen.

No they are not permitted to adopt anywhere but in the USA, and only in certain states. However all someone has to do is lie on their paperwork.

Russian Duma has addressed this issue, there are members which advocate the banning of adoption of Russian citizens by foreigners, and others that just want to stop Americans.

Of course children harmed by their new parents are few and far between, but this is a serious concern if you send your citizens to another country and they are harmed, molested or even killed.
