Our country needs income disparity in order to function. If we're all rich, we're actually all poor.

Les see you are the one who says that Bright kids should not recieve any financial help if they need it, then you stated that I had said something that I never did and also were do you get me turning to the State first from I do believe I said that the State should help IF THEY NEED IT then you accuse me of twisting your words !! LOL come on get real here.
The simple fact of the matter is you know full well that what I am saying is in the best interests of the USA but refuse to agree because you cant back down.
If you fail to promote those with tallant no matter what section of society they come from then your society will stagnate and ultimatly collapse, this has been proven time and time again throught history. I agree that they contribute different things to society but which contribution is the most necissery, a Dr/Teacher/Carpenter/Fierman/Policeman etc or that of someone who plays a sport? Each have a place but without the latter you woudnt have the society that you have now.

Our differences are clear: I believe success is earned through hard work, you believe it should be given and subsidized.
Self reliance vs. Entitlement...we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Once again you do it LOL show me where I said that it should be given? I said it help should be given if NEEDED now there is a great difference from saying that everyone should have it given to them.
Now please tell me how you can earn sucess through hard work if you can not afford tutition fees?
Forgetting exceptional circumstances how many people will sucseed if they can not pay for there education?
What does it cost to put yourself through collage in the US? and how much does McD's and other casual labour employers pay, try doing the maths

Tuition & books, etc probably cost me aroung $10,000 per year...why limit yourself to a fast food job? There are better opportunities out there, broaden your horizons man, geesh.

LOL I started working with my father at eight years old so kindly dont try telling me I dont understand the concept, I also put myself through collage with night school to get my degree. this was after leaving the forces and working days on a building site so again dont tell me I dont understand, I proberly have as great a idea of the concept as you do but I also posses the understanding that not all kids can do it without help, this is something you dont understand the concept of. All we get from you is let them do it on there own backs why should I help. Just because you had to do it that way dont make it right :D
