This was voted by the people. John McCain is right. It's not up to the Judges to decide. This ban was established by a public vote. Now some may say that even though the majority has spoken it doesn't effect them so why should it bother them. I don't have any problem with gay marriages. I have a problem with making a heterosexual church condone such unions. And it is a union not a marriage. Call it what it is. They can have the same rights as a married couple just don't desecrate the sanctity of marriage between a man and a women.
