Wow... so the huskers are no longer a Big 12 team? They turned their backs on their conference? Harsh.
This was a long time coming. Tom Osborn predicted what would happen back when the Big 8 allowed the Texas teams to join it and create the Big 12, when they immediately allowed the headquarters to be in Dallas. The conference has been nothing but skewed in favor of the Texas teams, who slowly made it so all the events and championship games were in Texas ect. I was actually hoping that Texas would leave for the Pac 10, maybe take Texas Tech with them and we could bring in TCU and/or Boise State but this Big 10 offer came first. Texas was looking to leave and Nebraska jumping first has already made it so Texas can make it look like Nebraska is the bad guy who ruined the Big 12. Colorado already left for the Pac 10. Oh well. We'll see how things turn out.
