Ban handguns? Supreme Court taking a new look

Sweet. we need more guns... Seriously, we need less laws about guns... It would just about be impossible to own guns now if the would enforce the pointless laws that we have now.

 

There talking about Chicago but even there they should be allowed to protect themselves. We have laws against felons and people perpetrating crimes with guns. Go for them. Create stiffer penalties for gun related crimes and go for the gangs that have them. Most will be on probation of some sort anyway.

 

The one thing we know without any doubt is that there is no way for the Government to protect anyone. At most all the police can do is show up to play janitor and catch the guy who killed you, at worse they don't even catch the guy.

So in my mind, it comes down to the ability to protect yourself from those who would attack you. Do you have that right or not? Is a woman supposed to give into rape? Is a smaller man supposed to lay down and die because a bigger man says so? If they take away guns that is exactly what the Government is telling us........to just take the abuse/death without a fight.
