I thought it was funny that the Right wing thought honoring our president was something bad. I'm unconvinced of your convenient if not unfounded criticism and why should kids be used to mock the office of the president regardless of whichever side holds the White House? School kids are not political tools for one side to be used and treated with indifference just because the "adults" in one party disagree with the policies of the opposing party. As I've said, again, and again, I'm satisfied with the military's report that no help could have possibly arrived in time to save anyone. Do you even know where they would have had to come from? I doubt it.
In hour 1, as the attack was beginning, how could anyone have known how long it would last? That excuse satisfies you? Really?
Any excuse (or lie) that doesn't make Obama or Hillary look bad satisfies him, David. It reminds me of the excuses German civilians told during WWII when Jews were being slaughtered and incinerated just a few feet away. "What? Yeah, it smells funny around here, but that's normal".
That is not what they said and you know it because I posted their position already. I also pointed out that you have this made for television cartoonish view of the world. The world isn't actually scripted so that they good guys arrive at the last possible second and save the stranded innocents. The world is just not scripted for maximum suspense like in the movies but I guess when you try to apply your naive view of the world based on the last action movie you saw, you end up confused why the Calvary didn't make it in time. It's OK, go see another action flick and get your fix of fantasy. The real world doesn't work that way. Maybe if you had ever left Kentucky and spent any time traveling over seas, you'd have a more real perspective on how things go in other countries. Terrorist attacks rarely if ever are scripted.
That's quite a long diatribe you've posted there but, once again, why didn't either BO or Hillary send help as our people were being slaughtered? They had no idea how long the attack would last so they would also have had no idea if they could get the help there in time to save them. Shouldn't they have at least tried to help? Actually, one of the generals said there was a Special Forces team stationed in Tripoli that could have been on the ground in Benghazi within 3 hours.
