I did feel kicked in the nuts tho, but no excuse. You have different views, I have my own. Whatever, but I am not to big to apologise.

I was watching the whole time as Level Headed's rants became more obsessive. Snide little remarks and snippets that eventually boiled over as I knew they would.

After one of his rants I emailed to ask him if he had received the package I sent to him. He did and replied that he posted this thread.
I read it and I got a bit hot.
Why? - because it followed a rathter scathing attack on me. So I composed a letter. Well, my email was not working that morning so it could not be sent. Probably a good thing as it gave me time to think about it.

I sat on it a few days wondering if I should send it. Heat of the moment can be very bad so I THOUGHT about it. Decided to send it.

Now in this email I asked him why, if he had such a problem with me, he didn't just email me in the first place instead of dragging my name through the mud in a public forum. I also, quite clearly, asked him who in the F@)& he was to tell me I'm Anti-American.

I got a short reply which included "Go F yourself". I'd already had one of these directed at me on the forum. Yes SOOOOO Level Headed.

I responded to this and nicely thanked him for the nice reply. Well, maybe not so nice as I do believe I told him to pull his head out of a certain area.

Long story short. I am now on his "spam" list for emails. Great way to solve a problem in his mind I guess. Yep, a finger in each ear and "lalalalala I'm not listening".

I'll guarantee you that I'm one of the "kooks" on his ignore list. I'm also a wacko, anti-American and more I'm sure. Just ask Level Headed. Geez, what a poor choice for a username it seems.

Now for those that don't know we used to be good friends. I spent time at his house, went to the Long Beach coin show with him in late May.

Had a great time. He and his lovely wife were great hosts and I'll always remember that part.

One friggin email and a partially open mind could have kept it that way. Instead I'm a wacko, kook, anti-American etc..

So be it. Think if the world worked this way folks.
There's an issue and a communication problem so solve it by breaking off all communication?

I speak my views which are not often well received here. I deal with it. I don't threaten to take my ball and go home as it were. I just plug along.

In closing there is much more to this story as, I'm sure, many of you know. I'll share it as I please. Like anyone else I don't appreciate anyone trying to back me into a corner.

You're not on my ignore list. I don't have one. Don't feel I need one. Scrolling is not all that difficult. Hey I can understand people putting an ignore on Katdung. I can understand you're putting one on me as well if you're that insecure.

I read damn near all of your posts as well as everyone elses. Some (even yours) I agree with at times.

You have a terrible temper and I've told you I do as well. Difference is I know how to control mine.

I tried that Stainless after I'd been bashed enough. I had the gall to speak MY feelings in an email. Yes, I even cussed. Happens when you feel you have to make a point. Hell, I'd been cussed on the forum at that point.
