In The Beginning...

I can differentiate a good natured ribbing vs a hate-filled ribbing. Anyway, it is all fun and good when it comes from a former serviceman. My dad was in the Air Force. I wanted to be one of the few and the proud. I went to the Marine Military Academy http://www.mma-tx.org/for 3 years during my middle school years. That helped prepare me mentally for what to expect when I joined the real deal.

 

I was a fireman at the First Middle School in the US. It even had gargyles in the stone work. It was in the mid eighties and things could get out of control. When two kids are fighting, the thing to do is not stand back but jump in and pull them apart. Because you are the adult. I used to raise hogs so it did not bother me.
