The duck egg one brought horrific flashbacks of my sister (who married a
farmer) gathering eggs for his breakfast...cracking them into the fry pan
and out would flop these....shudder... partially developed baby chicks. I
was horrified to see her scramble them up and breakfast was ready. She said
*what he didn't know, wouldn't hurt him.

I never ate at her house again.

    Ever watch this show?

    http://travel.discovery.com/tv/bizarre-foods/bizarre-foods.html

This guy walks around for an hour devouring crap like that in
    different countries.

I've actually gagged a couple of times watching him eat certain
    things.

The best episode was Morocco. He got this "delicacy" from a street
vendor which consisted of chunks of putrid goat meat and yellowish fat
goo that they intentionally allow to bask in the Moroccan heat for a
few days before mixing it with scrambled eggs.

He dry heaved several times after taking the first bite and then went
on to take a second bite, before giving up.

I watched him just once and once was enough...he was eating geese eggs that
were allowed to developed slightly, before being boiled...you could see
their little beaks, feathers forming...I switched the channel as he was
going to take his first bite.

And this comes from a person who has eaten chocolate covered caterpillars,
deep fried tarantulas, plus fried ants and grasshoppers

Oh man, I'm with you on this one! When I was very young, we all went to some
shirt-tail relation's house for Easter dinner. The kids were running around
playing with chicken feet, making the claws open and close.

My mother never ate chicken again.

No, they were only doing it to gross out the city kids (us, I mean).
