It appears there is a correlation between serving in the White House and the ability to gain remuneration from authoring a book which relates tales of happenings while employed there. I suspect many grains of salt must be administered to the reader while exploring the inner workings of the Oval Office through these writings. I must admit I am not a devotee of such garbage for the simple reason a person cannot separate supposed facts from fictions without having been present during such cited instances. Write a book about your time in the White House? Why not? There are "Benjamins" to be had for a song.

I gave up on Marxist propaganda halfway through President Trump's first term.

If the people that actually worked in the White House don't know what actually happened while they were there, then who does? Without the direct knowledge of the people that were there, would we ever know anything about any administration? Who do you propose we rely on for factual information? Should we only listen to the administration that occupies the White House in any particular instance? That would be foolish under any administration. Unless you want to rely exclusively on those people whose job it is to spin the news to their own favor, you might want to put a little more faith in some of these insiders. Eventually, a consensus of opinions from multiple sources shapes our understanding of the truth of any administration. If you know a better source, please share it with the rest of us.

Your reply reminds me of the same type of response to a comment that is taken out of context and on that basis, choose a new road to travel. I suspect most comments made by these White House Staffers are fraught with misleading talking points so they gain notoriety and more book/sales "Benjamins." Are you aware Congressional Members lie with impunity?

Direct taxation puts our ruling class above the law. The 16th Amendment has destroyed Public oversight of government.

Uh huh. So do you have any answers at for where we might gain insight into these administrations other than the people that actually were on-site at the time? Seems like a direct question based on your OP. Maybe you have no answer?

I suppose we could bug the WH and that way everyone would be able to hear every fart.
Why do you find it necessary to know everything that transpires in this domain? Is it because you do not trust your leaders?

Why don't you? I believe in trust but verify. You are avoiding the questions I asked. Any reseason?

You asked (1) one question. Here is my response. I do not believe we need a mole in the WH to report everything that occurs on a daily basis. Furthermore, what gain is there, after the fact, to know the internal operations/personal idiosyncrasies of the members of the staff? We elect officials to uphold standards of truth, honesty and justice. Unfortunately, many are flawed from the beginning of their foray into the world of politics, so maybe we need to vet all politicians before we elect them. We could hire a few hundred watchdogs to oversee, film and tape every proceeding and personal interaction. "Under the bus throwers" exist in every walk of life and in the WH it seems to be business as usual.

I asked (4) questions. I didn't say that we did need a "mole" nor did I ever advocate that there should be. This is not answering my question. This is answering the question you'd rather answer. A not so subtle avoidance tactic.

So we should blindly believe that any administration is upholding these standards? Is that really what you believe? OK.
You admit to them being flawed but object to anyone finding out about it? How does this vetting process work? Isn't that just the election process we already have?
Who is WE? We already have watchdogs in government. They're called Inspectors General.

You're whole diatribe is based on the people in the White House telling the truth. If you want that, you need to clean house and hire trustworthy people. That won't happen until we repeal the 16th Amendment.

Again, is this a reading comprehension issue for you? I said exactly the opposite. The people in the WH spin everything just like the opposition spins everything about them.

Please, please, let us not lecture others about truth again when you held Trump nowhere near such a standard. The guy lied more than he breathed air and you want to lecture me about truth? Forgive me if I dismiss anything you have to say about truth since it is only a partisan standard with you.

I believe that will happen naturally once Public oversight and economic sanity are restored.

The abuse of government to gain economic advantage has exploded since the legalization of direct taxation. It's responsible for the moral and ethical decay we see in America today.
