I'm not following. Anyway, here's a research paper showing a little over half of all abortions are a result of failed contraceptives, which is a more realistic number than virtually all or virtually none.

And this… In and of itself is this nations problem. Abortion is a concern for a women, her doctor and her creator. Federalizing the issue creates government fat that you and I pay for which puts it square into the court of public opinion which these days is entirely defined by political affiliation……. This is not an issue for POTUS, SCOTUS or any of our lawmakers. Period.

I absolutely agree, which is why overturning Roe is so damaging. It created a non-intervention environment where the decision was entirely up to a woman, her doctor and her creator. Now that Roe is overturned, the government has a say too.

I wondered how long it would take one of you to finally admit this. You all dance around it like it was a Maypole but never quite admit that all you really want is to control women having sex.

Here is a clue for you Christo-fascists. Women don't need your permission to have sex regardless of the consequences of their actions. As a matter of fact, many women end up pregnant because some man decided he was going to force himself on her without her consent.

Overturning Roe is not damaging . . . it is removing abortion from the purview of the federales.

Abstinence is not a decision for women alone JN, and I never implied that it was. Moreover, I do not oppose abortion in the event if rape.

Go toot your horn when you understand what you are writing about, and not when you don't.

But you just said, "The right to not reproduce has everything to do with abstaining."

Now maybe my English isn't as superior as yours but to me that unambiguously says that women should be abstaining from sex, shall we say "recreationally" in your opinion?

You want to control abortions, which it clearly wouldn't do anyway, by forcing women to abstain from sex or suffer the consequences in cases of unintended pregnancies.

I just want to know who the hell gave you that right over them? When did you first feel that you had the right to tell women that they should behave in a way that you deem acceptable? Just curious oh superior one.

You only cherry picked the part of my post that referred to rape. What about the rest of the abstinence issue YOU brought up?

Again, I wondered when one of you would say out loud what is actually behind your motivation and you are the one that came through for me. Now this question deserves its own thread. Do you mind if I reference your post as a primer? I don't really care if you mind, I'm going to do it anyway.

Whoever said abstinence was for women only? I never did, but you certainly read it that way . . . boy, are you stuck in one lane. Males can practice abstinence as well.

So @JoeNation , re-read my posts, try getting a little introspective for a couple of minutes and then answer me this, which of us do you think is more sexist?

So, you want to control women AND men's sexual behaviors? Then why only focus on abortion rather than forced vasectomies for men? You only mentioned aspects that control women. You failed to say anything about men's sexual behaviors at all. That is pretty damn sexist if you ask me.

These leftist have zero comprehension. When you try to show them the idiocy of their defenses by stating rates, percentages, or any other cherry-picked numerical data and using it likewise against their own numerical logic, they shut down. Most likely because they feel superior and believe you’re an imbecile. Mr. .22 Long Rifle is again doubling down on stupidity while trying to maintain his aura of being a Mensa society member.
