One of the worlds true bad guys is finally removed in what was a spectacularly successful eviction by the US military. This is a day I am proud to wear my Army Veteran ballcap.... I been taking a hiatus because the left spin had become so inane and imbecilic. But I just have to see how they will twist this into their typical "Trump bad" spin. Let the tears begin.

There is nothing bad about what Trump did. NOTHING! But I can guarantee that the liberals will try to spin this somehow. But whatever they try to come up with doesn’t change the fact that this is a turning point for the better.

And wear that Army Veteran ballcap with pride any time, MD.

    I would disagree....
Only ones that condemn this great military success are the usual rogue regimes
    Russia
    China
    N. Korea
    Iran
    Belarus

I am sure everyone else is cheering for Trump on this successfull operation to affect Regime change in Venezeula, esp. Venezeulans

I’m in total agreement. But, I was referring to the far-Left whacko, brainless, lunatic liberals here in the U.S. who foam at their mouths with their hatred of Trump for no reason. They would still want to kill him even if he cured cancer. Their hatred consumes them. See: Rosie O’Donnell, Jimmy Kimmel, Robert De Niro, Alec Baldwin, the cast of The View and Kathy Griffin.

President Trump liberated Venezuela from the Marxist, authoritarian, constrictive, socialist, murderous, criminal, fascist Maduro regime and I believe the people of Venezuela could not be happier.

Let's see what Zohran Maduro... errrr, I mean... Mamdani... has to say about his fellow socialist being brought to justice. Further proof that this moron is not a true leader.

Mamdani strongly condemns Trump's capture of Venezuelan leader Maduro as 'act of war'

Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani says he was briefed on plans to imprison Venezuelan leader

    January 3, 2026

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Saturday said he was briefed on plans to imprison Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife in New York City, calling their capture an "act of war and a violation of federal and international law."

President Donald Trump announced the couple's capture in a "large scale strike" Saturday morning, following months of assaults on suspected drug vessels allegedly tied to the Venezuelan regime in the Caribbean Sea and Eastern Pacific.

The Venezuelan government said in a statement the attack was carried out to seize the country's oil and minerals, and was an "attempt to impose a colonial war to destroy the republican form of government and force a ‘regime change,’ in alliance with the fascist oligarchy."

Mamdani, a Democratic socialist inaugurated on New Year's Day, said during a news conference Saturday he discussed the matter with Trump on the phone, pushing back on the commander-in-chief's decision.

"I called the president and spoke with him directly to register my opposition to this act, and to make clear that it was an opposition based on being opposed to a pursuit of regime change, to the violation of federal international law, and a desire to see that be consistent each and every day," Mamdani said. "I registered my opposition, I made it clear, and we left it at that."

The mayor later took to X, claiming the "blatant pursuit of regime change" will directly impact New Yorkers and Venezuelans living in New York City.

"My focus is their safety and the safety of every New Yorker, and my administration will continue to monitor the situation and issue relevant guidance," Mamdani wrote in the post.

Both Maduro and Mamdani believe in redistributing wealth downward, with Mamdani focused on taxing the wealthy and corporations to fund public services, and Maduro redistributing wealth through oil revenues and state control of resources.

Mamdani also campaigned on public-run housing, childcare, transit and city-owned grocery stores, similar to Maduro's policies of state-run food distribution, healthcare and housing.

However, Venezuelan socialism involves nationalization and central control, which led to an economic collapse and authoritarian drift.

Mamdani's office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

So does this idiot rather have the Venezeulan people under a Maduro dictatorship?
Or in plain English, someone who lost the election to a Democratic opponent (Machado)? This criminal Maduro was illegitimite, what is so hard to understand?
And why did the people of New York vote for a Marxist? 210M died under Marxist tyrants in last century. Think people should read up on their history, before casting ballots. But then I see people here wearing Che Guevera T-shirts. There should be NO one critizing Trump for this operational success, leave that for the lunatics in the Kremlin, Beijing, Pjongyang, Tehran, Minsk.......

I see that Maduro is being arraigned tomorrow in New York. There isn't any chance that Mamdani can have any influence over that arraignment is there?

I saw there were pro Maduro protesters in DC. Are they just stupid or actually support a dictator who stole the election thru corrupt electoral officials, stuffed ballot boxes. Then used brute force to crack down on protesters. Makes you wonder?

Haven't seen much if any explicitly "pro-Maduro" protesters, though I'm sure they exist. The protests I've seen are about breaking international law to unilaterally drag us into a new war for the purpose of looting and pillaging a weaker country’s oil reserves.

So that's the angle...... OK. So a puppet dictator that denied the outcome of his nations election and seized control at the behest of the major drug lords being removed had nothing to do with it.

No, that’s not what the protests are about.

The protests are being done by unhinged lunatics who hate Trump no matter what he does. Plain and simple. Similar to the “no kings” and “not my president” protests. It’s just their way of venting their vile hatred.

Most of these protesters probably don’t know the difference between Maduro and a hole in the ground. But, they think since Trump did it, it’s automatically bad. Sheeeeesh!

I mean, Trump's been pretty open about the oil angle. He's just out there saying it.

My thought would be, we all have to wait and see what transpires in the next 4 weeks in Venezeula. The true winner was Machado. Trump now has to send in US officials to see that Machado is installed as President. Then work with her and her team to make Venezeula "Democratic again" After that remove all sanctions, help with reconstruction. Also that the oil revenues now go to the people, instead of a corrupt Dictator and his cronies. This US action will send a strong message to Brazilian leftist President Lula di Silva, not to align his nation with Russia/ China.
