March 8-9 1862 naval battle Hampton Roads

On March 8-9th. Confederate CSS Merrimac sank two Union warships, damaged a third. Then she fought to a draw with Union USS Monitor. But was a Confederate victory.

 

I was cheering for the Merrimac My fav. General of that war was Nathan Bedford Forrest, never lost a battle.

 

Also most world powers were on the Confederate side, I think only my guys Prussia was pro Union.
