    Thread-drift tends to tend downward.

For example, a very interesting thread in rasfw, "Alien Color-Vision",
involving some nicely grotty physical, photochemical, biochemical,
physiological, neurological and epistemological points, has now descended
    to the following:

    > Can you cite any studies on the subject of raccoon coprophilia?

Color television is certainly a lot more fun than this terribly
risky genetic method of reproduction we've taken over.

Ah, well, it's a beautiful world.

I love Jeff Dunham and Peanut. His other "assistants" are not nearly so
funny. However, my absolute fave is the guy who does "Madam".

Are you talking about Wayland Flowers and *Madame*? I used to love that guy
and character. You did know he died in 1998, for awhile I wondered what had
become of him and Madame...it was years down the road that I finally found
    out he had died.

You remember Madame's dim blond bombshell niece Sara Joy, don't you?
played by Judy Gland--I mean, Landers.

In one epi she was practicing her cheers since somehow the high-school
poetry club elected her to the club as their _sole_ and _special_
    cheerleader . . . .

I tried to find a vidcap of that scene, but, believe me, searching for
"Judy-Landers cheerleader" brings up some fairly grotty results.

She went into a state of shock and mourning, passed away the next day thus
being buried with her best friend.

wavy g's number won fan is no match for shirley

Well, you see sweetie, Jeff takes his hand and arm..sticks it up Peanut's
butt to make Peanut's mouth and body move. THEN Jeff *talks* for Peanut,
    thus making Peanut a PUPPET.

Unless YOU really think there is a real purplish, feathery, big mouthed
creature running around with one sneaker on?

There are all kinds of sick imaginings involved in the hand enema of a
    creature named "Peanut."

Sherry Lewis just rolled over in her grave.
